Based across the Horsham area, all ages and abilities are welcome. We have classes to cater for all skill levels, whether you want to improve your fitness, practise technical and graded syllabus, compete, or work practical self defence and light to medium contact sparring. As such, we are members of:
- The English Karate Federation
- The World Association of Kick Boxing Organisations (WAKO)
- The Martial Art Against Bullying
In practice this means that the grades of all our instructors and students have full official UK and world recognition. Your Kenagi licence and qualifications will therefore be recognised by other official groups and bodies world-wide, enabling you to travel and take part in events and training activities anywhere in the world if you so choose.
- The Kenagi Academy is fully insured with Β£10 million public liability cover.
- Kenagi instructors have Β£5 million of professional indemnity. All our students are issued with personal insurance cover. The Kenagi Academy enforces the EKF Children Protection Policy, which all instructors follow:
- All Kenagi Instructors have been checked through the EKF for the CRB process.
- All Kenagi Instructors are Enhanced Disclosure Police Checked.
- All Kenagi Instructors follow the EKF NSPCC Child Protection Policy
- All Kenagi Instructors have Health & Safety First Aid qualifications. Please note: For sparring sessions all students are required to have full protective gear as outlined by Sensei. For newcomers loose clothing is recommended and a bottle of water.
