🫏🐏🦎Part-time Animal Support 🐖🐑🐓
East Clayton Farm is a registered charity, passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals through 1:1 support and land-based learning.
Our 120-acre property is home to an array of wonderful animals. Including donkeys, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, lizards, frogs and a tortoise, just to name a few!
Many of our animals have been rehomed with us, and as long as they are happy here, they will live out the rest of their days at the farm.
We wish to recruit two more Animal Support team members, to assist the work of our Livestock Manager and to work alongside our weekend staff, helping to provide outstanding animal care.
Jobs to include, but are not limited to, cleaning beds, cleaning paddocks, administering medication and performing health checks.
Hours to include one weekend morning. Potential for more hours if wanted.
Position 1) Friday and Saturday, 9am-1pm
Position 2) Sunday and Monday 9am-1pm
The ideal candidate will be reliable and flexible, with a good work ethic and sense of humour. Experience with large animals and/or reptiles preferred, but a willingness to get involved and learn new skills is just as important.
Although an animal role, you will be working around different people from all walks of life, so a kind and caring attitude is also a must.
Rate of pay: £12 - £14 per hour based on experience.

Our handsome donkey John, is 30 years old and suffers from a condition called cushing's. It's easily managed and very common in older donkeys, it does mean his coat grows incredibly thick and doesn't fall out during the summer
So we clip him, to help him feel cool and fresh during the summer months🌞🫏
