The Diveschool at Stoney Cove At the Dive School we teach PADI and BSAC courses that include everything you need.

There's been a Dive School at Stoney Cove since the early 1970's and there's one here today. Just as it was back then, our mission is to teach people to dive and experience the amazing sensation that is the Underwaterworld. If you want to learn just for fun or develop your skills further, to advanced, technical or professional levels, then there is no better place to do it than Stoney Cove

How about an Advanced Open Water course in the ever improving visibility!!

The Advanced course is your next step of discovery on your SCUBA journey and is an introduction to 5 different dive disciplines including 'Deep' and 'Navigation' dives.

.. how about taking the next step on your PADI Professional ladder and completing your 'PADI IDC Staff Instructor' certification ... just like Vera and Alec have done ...
.. as an IDC STAFF Instructor, you play a key role in the development of new PADI Instructors, making this an incredibly rewarding step in your professional diving career.

How about zooming around the underwater world on a Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV)!!

Just like Sam Kelly did this weekend when he completed his Christmas present of the ‘PADI DPV speciality course’.
It only takes 1 day and you can be certified to hire one of our DPVs to help you get around the cove and explore those places that seem a little bit too far away for a surface swim!!

Where will your next adventure take you ... .. how about wreck diving!!

Just like Ciaran did on his Wreck Speciality course where he got the chance to;
• Survey a wreck
• Use lines and reels
• Identify & avoid problems and hazards associated with wrecks
• Carry out safe wreck pe*******on

Really well-done to Ciaran although its a fun speciality; there can be a fair bit to take in and he took to it exceptionally well ... we’re looking forward to seeing Ciaran again soon.
.. too cold for you at the moment? ... then you need to do the Dry suit course beforehand ... this way you'll feel like diving all year long!!

Where will your next adventure take you ...?

How about the PADI Advanced Open Water course where you learn to expand your diving skills with an introduction to 5 of the different specialities that you can do ... just like Ben & Faye did!

Think it’s too cold for you at the moment?
Then you’ll want to complete your Dry Suit speciality first - however 'Ben' & 'Faye' had already completed the dry suit as part of their Open Water course - so they were ready to go!!

Its awesome seeing them back with us - they are focused, fun and safe divers ... which is exactly what we like to see!

We're looking forward to seeing more of them as the new year creeps in.
