A brilliant evening dancing for our friends at The Enterprise Club. We demonstrated some country dances and then everyone joined in with us to dance some fun favourites together.

A lovely afternoon at Avalon Court this afternoon celebrating a very special lady's birthday. Happy Birthday Dorothy!
Our demonstration team, as well as their display, particularly enjoyed inviting residents and friends up to dance with them.

This afternoon our Scottish dance demonstration team joined a special Community gathering at Leek Wootton Village Hall. We were there with a number of other clubs and organisations to share news about activities available in the local area. We are hoping our dancing display will encourage some new members to join us on Monday evenings.

Our first class this Autumn term was a special memorial evening remembering Bob Shakespeare. He left a wonderful legacy of music, dances and friends here at Stoneleigh. Our dance programme included many of Bob and his wife Wendy’s best loved dances and during the break we all toasted his memory with cups of tea and home made cakes. A special thank you to Noreen and Kate who shared some favourite memories.

During the break Noreen and Ian visited Noreen’s sister in West Huntspill, Nr Bernham on Sea. During their time there she held a charity BBQ and wanted to include some dancing. Noreen and Ian were happy to introduce everyone to Scottish Country Dancing. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all, as you can see in the photos, and it looks like becoming an annual event.
