As we move towards the spring equinox, the balance between light and dark begins to shift. The days slowly grow longer, and there’s often a quiet sense of change in the air.
To mark this transition into spring, I’ll be holding a 90-minute Yin yoga session on Sunday 22nd March.
Yin is a slow, grounding practice where poses are held for longer periods, giving the body time to release tension, soften, and create space. It’s a chance to step out of the usual pace of life, settle the nervous system, and take a moment of stillness as the seasons begin to change.
This session will focus on gentle opening and creating space in the body, supporting that natural shift from the stillness of winter towards the lighter energy of spring.
Sunday 22nd March
10:30am – 12:00noon
Britannia Dance Studio, Cainscross, Stroud
After the session, there’s always the option to join for a walk along the canal to Kitsch for a coffee or hot chocolate - a lovely way to connect with others from our community.
Book your space -
A slower practice where poses are held for longer, supporting deep release in the body and a quietening of the mind. Expect slow-held poses, guided meditation, and yoga nidra - a gentle, nourishing way to rest, reset, and restore balance. After class, you’re welcome to join us for a coffee or cake...
