As we move towards the spring equinox, the balance between light and dark begins to shift. The days slowly grow longer, and there’s often a quiet sense of change in the air.

To mark this transition into spring, I’ll be holding a 90-minute Yin yoga session on Sunday 22nd March.

Yin is a slow, grounding practice where poses are held for longer periods, giving the body time to release tension, soften, and create space. It’s a chance to step out of the usual pace of life, settle the nervous system, and take a moment of stillness as the seasons begin to change.

This session will focus on gentle opening and creating space in the body, supporting that natural shift from the stillness of winter towards the lighter energy of spring.

Sunday 22nd March
10:30am – 12:00noon
Britannia Dance Studio, Cainscross, Stroud

After the session, there’s always the option to join for a walk along the canal to Kitsch for a coffee or hot chocolate - a lovely way to connect with others from our community.

Slow Sunday mornings 🤎

I’ll be holding a yin class on Sunday 22nd February at Britannia Dance Studio, Cainscross (10:30–12).

Yin is a slow, grounding practice with longer-held postures that gently work into the deeper layers of the body. It’s a chance to calm the nervous system, release tension, soften, breathe, and simply be for a while.

Afterwards, we often wander over to Kitsch on the canal for a coffee or hot chocolate, if you fancy joining for a relaxed catch-up.

If you feel like you could do with a slower start to your Sunday, you’d be very welcome.

Join me for yoga this January 🤍

Winter invites us to soften. To slow our pace, move a little more gently, and listen inwards. It’s nature’s quiet season - a time for rest, reflection, and nourishment.

Yoga offers us that same invitation. A place to move the body with care, breathe deeply, and pause amidst the busyness of everyday life.

This January, my classes return with a weekly Vinyasa class and a six-week Beginner’s Yoga course, with more classes to be shared soon.

Classes in Stroud and Stonehouse. Find your moment of pause this winter - more information and booking link in my bio.

Happy New Year from us! 🤍🐾

Yoga has been such a big part of my year in many ways - thank you to everyone who has supported me this year and to everyone who has joined my yoga classes. I’ve loved teaching, seeing a community grow, and being able to share this beautiful practice that I love so much with others - it’s such a privilege. I can’t wait to be back on the mat in the new year.

I’m excited to be offering yoga classes at the GO Community Centre.

Each week there will be a vinyasa class - a flowing practice that links movement with breath, helping you build strength and flexibility while finding space to slow down and simply be.

Every other week, I’ll also be teaching yin yoga - a slower, grounding practice where poses are held for longer, allowing deep release in the body and calm for the mind.

You can find all the details at https://lydiaaliceyoga.co.uk/

Would love to see you there.
