After a busy pre-season, the lads are ready to get their league campaign underway and start writing the first chapter of Great Oldbury FC Men's Team history. 💚

This team is all about creating a pathway for our youth players Great Oldbury Youth FC into senior football, so this weekend is a really special moment for the whole club.

🟢⚪ PRE-SEASON CONTINUES... ⚪🟢

Another positive run out for the lads last night as we took on Cirencester Stroud in our third pre-season friendly.

⚽ We got off to the perfect start with Sam Coxhead finding the back of the net just minutes into the game. The visitors battled back to make it 2-1, but our Portuguese superstar Pedro had the final say, firing home a cracking goal to earn us a well-deserved 2-2 draw. 🇵🇹🔥

Every game is another opportunity for this brand-new squad to learn, improve and build those all-important connections, and it's great to see the progress being made.

🟢⚪ FULL TIME | GREAT OLDBURY FC 4 - 3 Hunts Grove FC (1st) ⚪🟢

Our first ever win! 💚🤍

A massive congratulations to the lads on picking up their first victory in only our second pre-season friendly, coming away with a brilliant 4-3 win against a very good Hunts Grove FC side.

It was a great game played in the right spirit, and another important step forward as this brand-new team continues to grow together.

This is another special fixture for us. Great Oldbury FC and Hunts Grove FC have built a fantastic relationship over the years. Hunts Grove launched their youth section just two years after ours, and after forming their Men's Team a year before us, they've been a great club to learn from as we begin our own senior journey.

We're looking forward to a competitive game between two community clubs, with plenty of mutual respect both on and off the pitch.
