At some point, the language starts to change.
"I used to be able to do that."
"My running days are behind me."
"I couldn't possibly lift that."
"I'm too old to start CrossFit."
And slowly, without even realising it, we start putting boundaries around what we believe our bodies are capable of.
Of course, getting older can change how we train.
We might need different loads, different movements, more recovery or a different approach.
**But different doesn't mean incapable.**
Your body can still learn.
It can still adapt.
It can still become stronger.
And you might be surprised by what happens when you're surrounded by coaches who meet you where you are and help you build from there.
We see people discover new capabilities at CrossFit Stonehouse all the time.
Not because we're trying to make everyone train like they're 25.
But because we refuse to assume that getting older means you should stop challenging yourself.
Don't decide what your body can't do before you've given it the opportunity to show you what it CAN do.
Think you're too old for CrossFit?
We'd love to challenge that idea.
