I studied at Edinburgh college and i have a HNC in fitness, health and exercise and a level 7 scqf personal training qualification. �
I am fully insured and i have a first aid and pvg certificate. �
I am pre and post-natal trained and my lecturer who helped me gain this qualification is named one of the best in Europe for teaching pre and post-natal exercise. ��
I have two horses at home called Am

ber and Snowflake �. I have been horse riding since the age of three, i do showjumping, cross country and vaulting. ��
I workout everyday and i have always loved sports. Over the years i have participated in football, cross country and tae kwon do. ��
I live in the Aberdeenshire area but i am happy to travel for sessions. �

From my other videos it may be quite obvious that i keep myself very busy 😂

Although it may seen like i have my hands full, I know how important it is to balance all the things you love and how to make time for the things that matter most whilst also sustaining a healthy gym schedule.

I use the gym as my way to wind down and relax and also let loose. You will often find me on the monkey bars as a way to decompress but also a massive credit to them for increasing my strength and mobility over the past couple of months.

A quick look back at my puregym journey

When i started at Puregym a year ago, i had decided to listen to my gut and give Personal Training in a gym one last chance. I had been put off joining a gym after previous toxic environments prior to moving to Greece but i had a feeling PureGym would be different.

I had said to myself and had been open with management that i would give it 3 months to see if it was right for me.
Now over a year later, i am so glad i took the chance.

I have met some of the most amazing people, clients, members and team and this is only the beginning of my journey. With so much more planned for this year i can’t wait to keep pushing myself to gain even more of my confidence back.

After a couple set back the past couple months with my health and personal life, it has given me the push to keep going and come back stronger.

Fueling your body becomes even more important during a flare up 🤍

Some days training looks different. The weights might feel heavier, the energy might feel lower, and your body might need a little more patience. But one thing I’ve learned is that food is fuel — not something to fear or restrict when your body is already fighting harder than usual.

Prioritising protein, easy carbs, hydration and meals that actually make me feel good has helped me keep showing up for myself, even on the difficult days 💪🏼

Training through a flare up isn’t about pushing through pain or proving something. It’s about adapting, listening to your body, and giving it the support it deserves.

Your body can’t perform, recover or heal properly if you’re running on empty ✨

One year at PureGym 🩵

When i started a year ago, i had lost all my confidence, i had no self belief But decided to give Personal training one last go …
Thank goodness i trusted myself to have one last shot.

I used to love being a personal trainer, but after working in the wrong environments with limited support, I lost that spark. I took some time out, moved across the world, and although I never stopped coaching completely, I did scale things back.

Fast forward to last May—back in the UK and missing being a PT more than ever. But after letting self-doubt creep in and with the fear of ending up in the wrong environment again, I wasn’t sure when I’d find the confidence to fully step back into it.

That was until I found the team at PureGym Wellington.

With more support than I had ever experienced before from management and colleagues I found my love for personal training again. Along the way, I met some of my closest friends—and Jamie, who deserves a post of his own for the impact he’s had on my growth, both personally and professionally.

A massive thank you to Geo, Liv, Kyle and the wellington team for everything they have done for me 🩵

I’m still not where I want to be in terms of confidence, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Taking that final chance on myself and saying yes has been one of the best decisions I’ve made—and one I’ll always be grateful for.

Week 3: Listening to your body
