We just thought we would update you on Ros' coaching journey!

This last few weeks, Ros has been working with the area RFU Coaching Developers to be trained up to join the team at the RFU and help Local Staffordshire Coaches to complete their ERCA training!!

The ERCA is a seasons long training course to enable coaches to gain confidence and competence in coaching contact rugby safely in their local club across all age bands and adult sections of the club.

Ros had a special focus in supporting female coaches in the process, something she is passionate to be involved with to help enhance the coaching offering for women and girls across Staffordshire (and at Stone, with our very own Sophie and Gemma P being candidates on one of the courses). Ros will be helping to support the coaches throughout the season in completing their training and enhancing the quality of training available to players in Staffordshire.

Some of our players are off to Stafford tomorrow to play our first Pitch up and Play of the season!

We will be joining with and to get all of our girls some game time and experience.

We're super excited to be clustering with Longton and Leek this season and the amazing support team we now have!!

With the new season nearly upon us, it's time to introduce our Junior Roses coaching team!!

Ros and Soph have been working together to build the Junior Roses side and will continue to do so this year, coaching in school PE lessons and after school clubs, and organising schools tournaments and events with our local school network!

If you know a local school who would appreciate some support with their girls rugby sessions let us know!! We would love to help!
Our focus as a club is years 6-9 but we are happy to help wherever you need :)

Our Junior Stone Roses will be back on the pitch this Thursday from 6pm.

Sessions open to all girls from year 5 to 13! No experience needed, just come in kit you're comfortable in and bring a drink!

Today's the day!!
Our Girls LOVE RUGBY Festival is happening at Enson Rd from 1-4 pm and all girls from years 5 to 13 (ages 11 - 18) are welcome to come down and join us! No experience needed, just grab a drink and your mates and come and join us!

What a week its been!!

🏉Our coach Ros, got a recognition award for her work at County level for Women and Girls Rugby Union - Staffordshire from the RFU!

🏉 8 of our Senior Roses smashed it in the Women's Staffordshire Police and Combined services first ever match!

🏉 We've got our Love Rugby girls festival on Thursday (30th May) from 1-4 pm where everyone from years 5 to 13 is welcome to come along to get a taste of rugby with none of the contact but ALL of the fun!

The 30th May sees Stone Rugby Club holding their first ever girls festival!!

We will be welcoming girls from years 5 to 13 down to the club to get a taste of rugby!

The session is from 1 to 4 pm and open to all, so come and join us for an afternoon of fun and games :)

Its nearly that time again! Thursday means rugby in Stone!!
Ros and Soph will be off down to Walton Priory to run their girls touch rugby club after school, then it's back to Enson Rd for juniors training at 6pm!

Any girls at Walton, feel free to come along to the club and see what touch rugby is all about, and once you get the rugby buzz, come down to our club training sessions which will be continuing all summer long (non contact for the summer). Any girls from other schools, just come on down to the club!!
