Sonic had his first trip out in the 7.5ton wagon today and I am so proud of him. Loaded travelled so so well in both directions and this pic is of him waiting for his turn.

This is why I practice with loading with no pressure of going to be late. I am always very careful to give the youngsters the best drive possible never in a hurry. If your calm their calm and everyone has a lovely experience.

So proud of Sonic. In hand work nailed and he worked with Gracie and Homer in there. 100% concentration on me. We will be on and away in no time 🥰

Sonic and Wotsit have been working really well recently. I have been a little quiet as Sonic is just long reining and lunging to make sure we are 100% before we get moving while ridden, although I have been on a walked around. Ground work is EVERYTHING!

Breaking horses in for others is something special, the being asked to do the process to be trusted to do the process is a good feeling, but there is just something extra special about doing your own homebred.
Heavygate’s Super Sonic here we start what I hope to be the best time for us.

Had a very interesting evening at Horses inside out at Holmeside Hall equestrian yesterday evening.
I have learnt loads and will 100% put in to practice.
