The 2025/26 Season Awards
Fresher
Coming into a new team can be tough, but Cal Cooper has fitted in straight away. He’s shown great attitude, commitment and confidence from the start, and hasn’t once let us down or looked out of place. The impact he had this season didn’t go unnoticed, and he’s been a great addition to the team.
Forward
Cal Cooper has been massive for us this season. Week in, week out he set a high standard, from his physicality, work rate and willingness to get stuck in. He’s been a vital part of the team, and a key part of the pack, he fully deserves this award and we’re all glad he’s getting it.
Most improved
Fin Turnbull has improved so much this season. From where he was last season to where he is now, the improvement in ability, confidence and impact has been huge. He’s constantly putting in the work, and it’s paid off big time for him.
Players player
Chosen by the lads, which says everything. Charlie Joy is the kind of player all teams would be lucky to have, week in week out putting his body on the line and showing us what he can do. Charlie’s been unreal, with many man of the match performances, massive shots, great runs, sneaky turnovers and bossing the line out. Alongside that, running the social media and organising photographers and videographers. A man who always gave it 100% and performed when we needed him too, an unreal team player and someone who fully deserves this award.
Captains Player
Charlie Joy, a player everyone wants to have on their team. Always available, always at training and always getting stuck in. Charlie’s been a vital player this season, bossing and sorting lineouts, always setting a high standard and motivating his teammates. Whether on the pitch or off the pitch, he’s a huge part of the team, and this is why he fully deserves this award.
