Our match against Lincoln has been rescheduled, we are holding a development session at 1pm tomorrow on the grass pitches instead.

It is a great chance to work on different aspects of the game and improve confidence.

As a team, we can always improve and will always support each other. Anybody is welcome to come down and train so grab your boots and give it a go!!

There has been a change of venue for next weeks charity game against Staffordshire police. It will now take place at Stafford RUFC.

Bring anybody along for a good evening of rugby, beers and food. 7:30pm kick off

This year we will be doing Movember. The entire team will be involved and it is a cause that means a lot to everyone of us.

The aim is to raise funds that go towards supporting the awareness of cancers, mental health and su***de prevention. Copy the link below and log in if you can support the cause financially.

Talking to each other about these issues can also be a big help. We as Rugby players acknowledge times can get hard but would always encourage everyone to talk and support each other.

Tomorrow we take on Harper Adams in the first home game of the season. After last weeks strong away win, we look to make it two from two.

Kick off is at 3pm on the grass pitches. Come along and bring anyone else to watch a good game. All the support is really appreciated as we look towards making a title charge.

We have big plans over the course of our season and in terms of importance, this match comes in at the top. We are playing Staffordshire Police in a charity game. Yesterday was a mixed day, we may have lost but it was great to see a smile on everyone’s faces. We have a lot of room to develop and with freshers getting stuck in, experienced players supporting each other, we have every chance of causing problems this season to other teams.

Great work yesterday, we all put in a good shift so lets try and make it to the sessions tomorrow. The introduction to rugby session is at 3:30, we are meeting up at the sports centre for 3:15 before we go over together. The touch session is between 7-8 and both are on the grass pitches.

As you know freshers week is next week so all these sports teams will try and impress. Can as many of us as possible turn up next Friday between 6-7 and show rugby in a good light.

Just letting everybody know that Longton RUFC have said that we can play in their 1st and 2nd team for free this year. After last years showing it’s a great place where we can develop our own skills and have a good laugh.
