We've had a lovely morning manning our 100% unofficial Toetagz cheering station at the Hanley Economic Potters Arf Marathon.

So lovely so see runners back on the road at our iconic local run and cheer on some familiar faces.

Well done everyone, you smashed it, and it was a warm one 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️👊

We’ve had a really busy weekend here at ToeTagZ HQ fulfilling a surge of orders for all the wrong reasons, the tragic death of a local runner who got into difficulty whilst out training with friends. Sadly, he had no ID on him and it was difficult to contact his loved ones.

I developed ToeTagZ because I felt strongly that runners should always have easily retrievable, affordable ID on them, just in case. We have always tried to take a light-hearted approach to this serious issue focussing on bloodied knees, sprained ankles, and/ or wounded pride.

However worse case scenarios can and do happen reminding us how important it is to carry ID. So, please, please whether it is our product or some else’s make sure you carry ID.

Our hearts go out to the runner’s family and friends at this desperately sad time.
