Flyer flexibility expectations for the ‘26 - ‘27 season 🤩
If you’re looking to attend a flyer evaluation for the upcoming season, here are our expectations for body positions. Body positions must be in the ‘amber’ or ‘green’ categories for athletes to be greenlit from their flyer eval, to then continue through to fly at main tryouts. Athletes in the ‘red’ category will progress through to main tryouts as bases/backspots.
🔴 RED - keep stretching and try again next year!
🟠 AMBER - greenlit to fly at main tryouts, keep stretching to stay in consideration for choreography
🟢 GREEN - greenlit to fly at main tryouts, this is the preferred standard for choreography
Please note: Being a flyer on a team at Momentum also relies on showmanship, flying skill level, team composition/age range, and staying dedicated to practicing flyer stretches, even outside of training sessions!
