Hanley parkrun is a weekly free timed 5k run at in the Hanley Park, located in Stoke-on-Trent. The run is three laps of the Victorian park and held at 9:00 am each Saturday morning, suitable for runners of all ages and abilities. parkrun is a run and not a race and therefore is a really fun way to get involved in running. Runners should ensure they have registered beforehand, and bring along their

barcode to every parkrun. We also request that all runners show due consideration to all other users of the park and local residents when they come to take part in our parkrun. parkrun is only possible due to the volunteers who make it happen. We're always eager to see new volunteers, so if you or your friends or family would like to get involved then please see our website.

Cancellation reminder

Due to other events in Hanley Park, we will unfortunately have two more cancellations in the next few weeks.

After your parkrun tourism you can go and support the events taking place :
20th June - Stoke On Trent Pride
4th July - Caudwell Children Colour Run

Hanley parkrun will be taking place as usual on the 27th June. Then back with hopefully fewer interruptions on 11th July.

ONE WEEK TO GO! 🏳️‍🌈🎉

Next Saturday there is only one place to be and that's at HANLEY PARK for Stoke-on-Trent Pride 2026 - our 20th Anniversary Pride; 12 noon until 6pm.

The whole event all around the park is Free To Attend (except Main Stage & Bar Area). Our MAIN STAGE and BAR AREA is once again bigger than ever, with a superb line-up for your entertainment. It's just £5 Adult and £1 per child to enter this area.

Outside of this, the rest of the event is completely FREE, so come along to enjoy:

Cancellation news - sorry everyone!

Due to other events in Hanley Park, we will unfortunately have three cancellations in the next few weeks. We've been working with the city council and organisers, but we can't guarantee a safe traffic-free route on these dates, due to the start times and set-up requirements.

13th June - Spitfire Celebration organised by the Friends of Hanley Park
20th June - Stoke On Trent Pride
4th July - Caudwell Children Colour Run

Hanley parkrun will be taking place as usual on the 27th June. Then back with hopefully fewer interruptions on 11th July.

If you're out and about this morning, look out for Gab Stone, who is in the city today as part of his marathon challenge...

If you're out and about this morning, look out for Gab Stone, who is in the city today as part of his marathon challenge. He will be running through Hanley Park as part of two loops round Stoke to make up marathon distance. Good luck Gab.

Well done to everyone who joined us this morning... hope you've dried out now!
Thanks to all our volunteers- congratulations to Lillian on completing your 50th volunteer milestone.
Great to see Andy and Val back at Hanley parkrun... all the way from 🇦🇺.
And thanks to The Little Vintage Tea Room at Spode Museum for welcoming us for breakfast.
Don't forget we're are cancelled on 13th and 20th June. Back on 27th.
