Join this free webinar, hosted by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, to find out more about how to make your workplace COVID-secure.

This webinar is designed to be relevant for shops and branches
• This guidance covers shops that are currently open, such as shops selling food and chemists.
• Shops also includes non-food stores, fashion stores and other types of retail that are currently closed. The webinar will help businesses consider what operations may need to look like when they are allowed to open.
• Branches include bank branches and other open money businesses.

This is one of a series of webinars about how to work safely in different types of workplace. Many businesses operate more than one type of workplace, such as an office, factory and fleet of vehicles. You may wish to attend more than one webinar as you think through what you need to do to keep people safe.

THANK YOU everyone who shared or responded to our appeal for PPE for Royal Stoke. We’ve had so many businesses get in touch. The hospital have asked us to put the appeal on hold while they go through the responses, so, for now, we’re not looking for any more offers of equipment.

While I may be sharing some funny stuff on My wall folks, please don't think I'm not struggling either, my job is is dealing with Import and Export and trust me, it's having a massive effect on what we do, Borders are closed and companies are struggling, and so are we.
I am here to help as much as I can and if I can't I can point you to someone that can,
The one thing I can promise is i will always be here as will the rest of the team, and when the Economy kicks back in, we had better be ready,
Because the world wants quality not quantity.

We fully understand that you dont want meetings and keeping everybody safe is the most important thing to do, we are available by email or telephone and documents are still being processed.

Customs Declarations
From 01 January 2021 the Government has stated that Customs Declarations will be required for goods exported to and imported from the EU. This will have a significant impact on companies trading with the EU.

Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce has trained staff who are able to complete customs entries on behalf of companies acting as a customs clearing agent.

The team is able to offer dedicated advice and is delivering workshops and bespoke training for companies on the detail of CDS.

Well our wonderful export clients,and a few special business that don't export have done me proud. Thankyou for all your wonderful donations for prizes for the Staffordshire chambers of commerce big Christmas raffle.
Tickets are £5 each and that gets you 15 entries as there is a daily drawer every Monday to Friday for the 1st three weeks of December. All the money raised through our charity events is split between the wonderful charities the chamber supports. Here is some of the fab prizes 😊❤
