What a week of player appearances across our Community Engagement programmes! 🤩

A huge thank you to Djibril Soumaré, Ben Johnson, Ben Gibson and Ben Pearson for giving up their time to support participants across the City.

Djibril and Ben Johnson visited Thistley Hough Academy for a collaborative session bringing together our Premier League Inspires and Premier League Kicks programmes, while Ben Gibson and Ben Pearson dropped into Ricardo's to meet participants taking part in one of our Seated Exercise sessions as part of our Health & Wellbeing provision 🙌

An incredible experience for everyone involved, creating lasting memories and inspiring participants of all ages. 👏

⚽ Investing in our people. Developing our practice.

Our Football Development team recently took part in an in-house practical CPD session, delivered by Football Development Manager Adam Cookson.

The session gave staff the opportunity to share ideas, develop their coaching practice and continue raising the standard of delivery across our programmes. 🙌

Continuous learning helps us create the best possible experiences for the young people and communities we work with. 🔴⚪

📚🧠 Last week, Pottermus took to the road for World Mental Health Day, visiting partner schools across the city! 🦛💙

Children enjoyed an interactive reading of Meet the Mascots, getting involved with actions and movement throughout the story to create an exciting active read experience. ⚽📖

The sessions highlighted the importance of both physical activity and reading in supporting positive mental wellbeing, while introducing pupils to the Five Ways to Wellbeing and encouraging just 10 minutes of reading each day. ✨

👀 Keep an eye out... Meet the Mascots will soon be available to purchase!
