StreetGames Stoke-on-Trent StreetGames offers sports and volunteering opportunities to young people in Stoke-on-Trent

The StreetGames programme in Stoke-on-Trent is run by the City Councils Sport Development Team and has been in operation across the city since July 2008. The programme delivers sport, games and dance to young people where they want it, at times they need it and in a style that they can relate to. StreetGames provides activity “on the doorstep” for young people aged 8-18 who are generally not membe

rs of sports clubs but do enjoy taking part in sport. StreetGames offers a range of sport related services with the intention of;

• Improving community cohesion
• Creating a greater intergenerational understanding
• Reducing incidences of antisocial behaviour by young people
• Increasing employment prospects / opportunities for volunteers
• Enhancing self esteem for participants and volunteers
• Improving the health and wellbeing of participants

✰★ NEW UV ADULT'S FOOTBALL LEAGUE ★✰

Friday 3rd March, 8:30pm - Michelin Sports and Conference Centre we will be delivering a FREE Glow in the Dark Football session to the general public of Stoke-on-Trent. It doesn't matter what your level. Just turn up on the day and play, with the league starting the following Friday from 8:30-10:30 (LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE)
