Hurst vs Cheadle SMU

First minute of the game from kick off Grant told Spencer to attack the centre back, he did just that, everything was perfect for spence literally a strikers delight to make it 1-0 in the first 5 seconds, then he decided to pass to Neil Armstrong😂 back to Right back for you son

Then after that Cheadle thought it would be a good idea to go and score 4 against us and just have 1 player in the middle dictating the entire flow of possession for the Cheadle side

HT 4-0

Second half was the same but we actually scored a goal which came from our very own Blinco, then Cheadle again thought it was a brilliant idea to go and score 5 making it 9-1, just brilliant lads well listened🙄😂

FT 9-1

Just an utter shambles from mostly everyone on the pitch today 🤷🏼‍♂️

MOTM - Grant, ran for everything and was our only attacking threat on the pitch💛🖤

KOTW - Andrew Blinston, same old from Andy again, made an aerial attempt and got turned into a tumbleweed 😂😂

Honourable mention for spence, he’s lucky he actually ran and battled for everything after that miss or else he definitely would’ve got it…

Hurst 0-4 Five towns

Today saw the hurst fall out the cup to a decent div 3 side Five towns

Their first came from a bit of a mix up between chalky and nik when the press from the FT’s striker got the ball off chalky and slotted it past nik
1-0

Their second came after a ball over the top to what we all thought was an offside FT player he ran towards goal and passed to his winger who was about 10 yards infront of him who was infront of the whole back line of the hurst, offside to me that is don’t know about anyone else, who then slotted it past nik
2-0

The Hurst to be fair battled very well in the first half and Gaffer Canaan was impressed with how the lads reacted to the FT’s quality

HT 2-0

Their 3rd came from an excellent ball over the top of the hurst’s defence, ball across goal and bang goal- carbon copy of vines first goal from last week
3-0

Their 4th came from some tricky feet from their no9 who rifled the ball towards the near post just beating blinston, unlucky tbf

MOTM- Sean, the guy was just everywhere today, defence, midfield and attack. Very good going from a lad with a dodgy knee, that special ointment must be doing the trick

KOTW- Nik for passing the ball to chalky when he had 2 strikers up his arse, nice you nik

Nevertheless the result isn’t obviously what we wanted but we actually played like the team who won their first couple games and hopefully this transcends into the next game where we are finally away to Cheadle SMU

Forever proud, UP THE HURST 🖤💛

Defeat for a much changed Hurst 🏆

Well done to the lads who fought for the full 90 minutes 🙌
