Last night, as a club, we descended to Vale Park to welcome and celebrate the 2025/26 season for all of our teams, players and coaches

A wonderful evening, celebrated and rewarding the hard work and effort of all across a long and testing season

🥳 CELEBRATION EVENING ⚽️

This time next week, we come together to celebrate the people who make our club what it is.

Players, parents, families, friends, coaches, volunteers, and supporters — this evening is for every single person who has contributed to our journey over the last 11 months.

It’s been a season defined by growth, resilience, commitment, and togetherness. From the first session to the final whistle, our club has been built on effort, character, and the standards we set every day through the PCT principles.

On the night, we’ll recognise:
Outstanding individual performances
Team achievements and collective spirit
Commitment, attitude, and consistency
The coaching culture and environment that drive development

This is more than an awards evening. It’s a chance to reflect on the progress made, the challenges overcome, and the memories created together. Every training session, every match, every conversation, and every act of support has helped shape our club this season.

We’re incredibly proud of what has been built, and even prouder of the people behind it.

🚨PLAYERS VOICE TOURNAMENT 🗣️

This morning our U9’s and U10’s (as well as 1 U8) took part in an in-house tournament designed to give the children the chance to lead

4 teams of 7, 3 points for a win, 2 for a score draw, 3 bonus points if you had 3 different scorers in 1 game

Teams picked at random and coaches assigned to a team they wouldn’t normally work with.

The players chose the formation, playing positions and today was all about them, their voice and their development

Coaches were simply encouragers and facilitators today ensuring the players experienced building new friendships, playing with others they normally wouldn’t and the challenge of being in a new team with different partnerships

Positive feedback was almost instant from parents:

“Great for the kids to be mixed and there was some fantastic play on show”

“Great for my son to be working with older boys, being guided and inspired by them”

“Saw lots of different playing positions today, making decisions and lots of touches on the ball”

A fantastic showing of togetherness, support and development across the club

🗓 Every Other Monday (Fortnightly) - starting Monday 8th June
⏰ 5.30-6.30pm & 6.45-7.45pm

Players will develop:
⚡ Ball striking power & technique
⚡ Receiving under pressure
⚡ Playing with back to goal
⚡ Combination play & movement
⚡ Clinical finishing
⚡ Different striking & finishing techniques

Using the PCT coaching methodology, every session is built around purposeful repetition, game-realistic detail and skill acquisition principles — helping players build consistency, sharper decision-making and the confidence to perform when it matters most.

2 day tech camp, where each individual will have a chance to develop their technical ability, be challenged in 1vs1’s, 2vs2’s, 3vs3’s and panna competitions.

🏆 SLC Area Finals ⚽️

Weekend 2 of 2 and we had our U10’s, U10’s Blue and U12s competing across a grey morning in Staffordshire

Exposing the teams to high pressure environments, smaller game length formats and selections, is a chance to stretch individuals and teams as part of their longer term development.

All 3 teams were formed with no child trialled, just a children wanting to play Saturday football. 12 months ago 2 of the teams created history by being the first teams to win trophies for PCT.
