Tier 1 area cup 🏆 final here we come!!🔥

🔵⚪️ Super proud of the lads again today after another brilliant performance from the boys to beat a really strong side!! 🔵⚪️

Are MOTM’s 🏆🏆 today both picked by ourselves were first off Freddie the whirlwind after showing some fantastic distribution, transitioning us in to attack quickly and a fantastic reflex save 🧤at the end of the game!! With the defence in front of Fred and his excellent goal keeping ability, we have been unbelievable in keeping goals to an absolute minimum ⛔️ in 90% of our games👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The other MOTM award 🏆🏆 went to our newest signing and that was Leo who again come up with a very important goal ⚽️ at a decisive moment in the game, Leo also gave it 100% effort playing in 3 different positions today which is never easy and gave it 100% in all of them!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

💙🤍 Massive well done to the whole team, now let’s go get this trophy 🏆

🔵⚪️⚽️ Good day to day in the Doug brown tournament 🏟️ for the lads, reaching the semifinals but can’t help but feel hard done by for the lads if I’m honest, 🤷 the lads were fab today and played absolutely fantastic in every game topping the league, couldn’t be any prouder of what I saw and the effort applied within the games by the boys!! Well done lads on to the semi final of the area cup Sunday, we go again keep smiling and doing your thing!!⚽️🔥🔵⚪️💪🏻

🔵⚪️⚽️ Wow that was horrendous weather conditions for the lads today a real gruelling one!! But I couldn’t be more proud of the team standing up to it and being counted 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Fabulous team performance and very rare would I say it but after that today which was based on pure determination everyone of the lads were are FC Hanley MOTM’s!! 🏆

Led by our newest player Leo who was are captain today👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 after a fantastic performance at last weeks tournament 🏆

They even went over to thank there parents who all also stood through the elements, to cheer the boys on, so a big thanks from me also!!

🔵⚪️⚽️ Very late one in coming for Sundays game which was a really competitive one, the opposition MOTM 🏆 went to Freddie the whirlwind 🌪️who was once again fantastic in goal pulling off some fantastic saves 🧤, showing some brilliant distribution ⚽️ and a double penalty save that was absolutely unbelievable the reflexes were incredible!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The FC Hanley MOTM 🏆 🔵⚪️⚽️ went to William who I thought had his best game of the season, getting stuck in making some great tackles and clearances when required and finding some lovely passes when he saw the pass was on, much more confidence was shown today on the ball which was great!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

🔵⚪️🔥⚽️ It was back to it again today and it sure was a super Sunday!!

A really good game today where the lads started by singing a lovely rendition of happy birthday to you for our nr 1 🧤🌪️between the sticks Freddie 🎂 who made some great saves and was birthday capo 👍

The lads were all superb today putting in a fantastic team performance 🔵⚪️💪🏻

Today’s OMOTM award 🏆 went to Albie who had an unbelievable game again, going on some fantastic mazey runs, showing a great first touch and some great intricate passes and touches in the final 3 rd and scoring a number of goals one which was an absolute 🚀 into the top corner👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻, which Jayden followed and did one himself ☄️ some unbelievable goals today from the lads!! 👍👍👍

The FC Hanley MOTM award 🏆 went to Nic who also had a superb game doing everything at the other end of the spectrum with pure heart ❤️ and desire 🦁 Nic was all over the pitch today breaking down play, battling for every ball ⚽️ putting the body on the line when needed, finding some lovely passes at all ranges, a great display of team play putting in the extra yard to win the ball back for his team to rebuild an attack 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🦁

Also I would like to say a big welcome to Leo (messi) who has joined the team and slotted in like he’s been here for years 🔵⚪️💪🏻 Leo was fantastic today and showed great team play, setting a really high tempo 🏃 for the team defending and pressing from the front, non stop running lovely passing of the ⚽️ and managed to bag a lovely couple of goals which was great to see!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🔵⚪️ hope you enjoyed it matey! 👍

🔵⚪️⚽️ Following a really good competitive game yesterday, where the lads stood up to the challenge, and showed some fantastic passing displays, the OMOTM award 🏆 went out Jayden, who led fantastically from the front setting the pace 💨 and was absolutely everywhere, Jay showed his talent with some lovely dribbling ability and finding some lovely passes and excellent awareness on and off the ball to either find space or to be in the right place to break down play 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The FC Hanley MOTM award 🏆 went to our man mountain ⛰️ Arthur who played at the back and was fantastic not letting anyone past him 💪🏻, Arthurs first touch was sublime which gave him time on the ball to show his lovely array of passing and composure to pick his head up and make the correct decision, the 🗻 also went in between the sticks for 1 quarter and was fantastic again!!

🔵⚪️ A bit late from the game yesterday as I was snowed under!!🔵⚪️

But wow what another fantastic performance from the team again 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 on a great run at the moment and the lads have been superb week in week out 🔥

The whole team were brilliant throughout the game but this weekends OPP MOTM award 🏆 went to our Albie ⚡️🏃 who had a fantastic game showing lightening speed on the break to get us into an attack which resulted in him being in the wars on a few occasions but this didn’t deter him 💪🏻 from getting back up getting on the score ⚽️ sheet showing excellent control, skill on the ball and some great link up play on the attack 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The FC Hanley MOTM award 🏆 went to our Freddie AKA the whirlwind 🌪️🧤this lad is absolutely formidable between the sticks game in game out and is as brave as an OX 🐂 he asked for a run out burn off some of that energy he has Sunday and did he give it 100% he was absolutely everywhere battling for every single ball ⚽️ showed great defensive ability and when he had the chance to get forward was straight down that line on the attack he also was very unlucky not to get a goal when attacking a cross with desire for the ball to go over the bar.

Big thanks to our Arthur the man mountain ⛰️ for going in goal and letting Fred have a run out and he was also fantastic between the sticks but adamant he wasn’t wearing Fred’s vale cap 🧢 keep the sun out his eyes 👀 😂😂🔴⚪️

Well done to all the lads been on absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥 over the past month or so and have been giving it absolutely everything!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
