Stoke Poges Tennis Club Joining Day Saturday 1st April 2023 from 1pm

Interested in playing tennis? The Stoke Poges club is a friendly group of social and competitive players with members from toddlers to the over 80s.

Come and chat to existing members and try out our courts, all of which are floodlit, so play can take place all year round. Racquets available for use on the day.

Annual membership starts from £140 for adults £250 for a couple - junior membership from £50.

We cater for all standards of players and coaching sessions are available.

TENNIS FOR KEY WORKERS’ CHILDREN & OFSTED EARLY YEARS: Our head coach, Stephen Wright will be offering tennis sessions at our club for children of key workers of the local community in the coming weeks;
Saturday 9 am – 12 noon and Sunday 9 am – 12 noon : 5 – 8 years
Saturday 1 – 4 pm and Sunday 1 – 4 pm : 9 – 15 years

These activities have been approved by the LTA (Governing Body for tennis) and The Department of Education (OFSTED). For details and availability, please contact Stephen WRIGHT on 07946 491696 or email [email protected].

CLUB CLOSURE: It is with regret that we must again close the club from 05/01/2021 for ALL play due to the newly announced COVID lockdown 😪. We will keep you updated with any future change.

WINTER WEATHER and ACCIDENT REPORTING: Winter weather is now upon us and you are reminded to take care around the slippery surfaces, especially the decking. The water supply may also be isolated to prevent freezing pipes. If water is isolated, the stop c**k is found underneath the sink should you require water.

Also a reminder that any accidents/illness which occurs at the club should be documented in our accident report book which hangs next to the first aid kit. The Committee reserves the right to close the facility if it is deemed too dangerous for use due to icy weather.
