We’re SO excited to announce that MOWH XI will be taking on Inter Legends FC! 🙌

Inter Legends bring together some brilliant former professional and semi-professional players for charity matches across the country and this time, they’re coming to Stoke Gabriel to take on us! ⚽️

It’s going to be such a brilliant day.

We are still looking to recruit players for our Development side, competing in Division 3 of the South Devon League.

With a new coaching team now in place, we are set to go, other than boasting the squad to ensure we have the numbers to compete.

We’re really pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Kirkland as our Development Team manager 🙌

Rob has coached football throughout his professional career alongside his role as a PE teacher. Having served as Director of Football at a large international school, he has extensive experience working with players across all age groups. Most recently, Rob has been coaching the Alderney FC Men’s team while also serving as Chair of the Alderney Football Association.

With deep expertise in elite player pathways, Rob looks forward to bringing his coaching knowledge to SGTPFC. His focus will be on providing youth players with genuine development squad opportunities while embedding a direct pathway into the 1st team.

The SGTPFC Development team is currently recruiting players. Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to reach out through the club's social media channels to register their interest.

Following today’s victory over a strong looking Honiton Town side, Lloyd Marshall was unanimously awarded man of the match.

Lloyd has come in to the side after a spell out with injury and has made an immediate impact, including a stunning penalty save today.

Tomorrow sees our 5th home game of the month as we welcome Honiton Town to the Sports Lighting Stadium.

Our usual award winning hospitality will be provided by our small team of match-day volunteers and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible to support the team 🤞

Yesterday saw our first midweek action at Sports Lighting Stadium as we took on Teignmouth AFC under the floodlights, with the result seeing us take all three points.

The game finished: SGTP FC 2–1 Teignmouth AFC.

🏆 MOM was awarded to Caleb Tallis.

First Team Manager Connor said:

“Caleb was excellent. The effort levels he put in contesting every header, making attacking runs, creating chances, recovering and supporting the lads off the ball was outstanding. Well deserved man of the match.”

Our first home midweek action of the season sees us welcome Teignmouth AFC to the Sports Lighting Stadium tomorrow evening.
