Ah it’s that time ……..to wish our Georgia all the luck in the world as she starts her new adventure at Performers College on her degree course in musical theatre 🎭

I am never normally stuck for words but it is hard to quickly sum up over 10yrs of memories and teaching 🤩 The hard work which has gone into every lesson,every week, every year is impossible to explain.

I take comfort in knowing that the memories will always be there for Georgia,myself and Miss Lauren and all the other pupils and their families who have been part of Georgia’s life at Starlight ⭐️

The studio will be a quieter place without her laughing, falling, throwing herself around and making up her own ballet language!

Georgia- you have all you need to move onto this next chapter and succeed ✨
Just hold on to the knowledge and self belief that you can do anything 💪🏻

If ever a photo explains why your child should start dance lessons it’s this one!🩷

Taken on Monday, Ellie and Evie were choreographing a piece of dance themselves after being given a theme/story to convey.

They were busy working away, sharing ideas, trying different steps and working as a team when i happened to capture them laughing after a move made them 🤭 giggle.

We had a lovely afternoon on Sunday celebrating our older pupils and saying ‘Good luck’ to Georgia 😭before she leaves us to start stage school in September ✨

Everyone performed brilliantly and it was heartwarming to see all of our pupils watching each other, supporting each other and having fun 😍
It was also an opportunity for the parents to socialise.

We raised £140 from the raffle towards our new dance floor so thank you very much to everyone who donated prizes and purchased tickets.

A big thank you as always to MissLauren Jade Barr for all her hard work and help towards this event and in classes 🩷
