ππππππππ ππππππ:
Nobodies arsed about how much I weigh, but for me this is a massive win, considering how I was mentally and physically 8 weeks ago.
In a job that wasnβt right for me, overwhelmed with the same day to day tasks that donβt usually bother me, having to eat what Iβm given without knowing what the hidden calories were and adding to my stress and anxiety while trying to strive for results.
Fast forward to now, in a job that is better suited to me, in control of what I eat daily, more energy, happier all round, and taking care of the day to day tasks with ease.
The thing is, I have stuck to plan, havenβt missed a session, showed up on my hardest days when I was fatigued, kept a daily routine, kept my good daily habits in check, and now itβs paying off.
Iβm not going to claim that I have been perfect, but who is? However now that time is ticking there is no room for error.
This means, saying βNoβ to the things that donβt serve my goals.
It means avoiding environments and the temptations that those environments bring hand in hand which donβt serve my goals.
It means sticking to the plan, ticking the boxes, and staying laser focused on the task at handβ¦ ππππππππππ.
The fundamentals outside of the gym for me are:
Sleep, Steps, Recovery, Hydration, and Food prepβ¦ πππππππππππ.
As long as these are taken care of, I know that everything else takes care of itself.
Might I also add that Iβve surrounded myself with a solid team and support circle, this is VITAL for me.
Having people around you who support you without judgement, just gives you that extra reassurance, mental stability, an outlet for the emotions on tough days, and the positive reinforcement that you need when going for something you want to achieve.
Iβm now into my prep for what will be my biggest ever achievement since starting my fitness journey 7 years ago, Iβve never been more ready for anything in my entire life, and Iβll be keeping you all updated in the weeks and months to come.
Itβs go time.
