Saturday 12th September

Join us for an incredible day supporting athletes across Sprint, Olympic, and 70.3 distances.

Volunteers receive:
Free UPrevail volunteer t‑shirt
Packed lunch + snacks
Unlimited tea & coffee
Free entry to a future UPrevail event
Access to the Fire & Ice sauna + ice baths (3pm–10pm)

Available Roles
✔ Registration Crew
✔ Car Park Attendants
✔ Transition Marshals
✔ Swim Counters & Swim Start Crew
✔ Cycle Route Marshals
✔ Run Route Marshals
✔ Aid Station Teams (Bike & Run)
✔ Finish Line Crew (Medals & Water)
✔ Awards Support
✔ General Event Helpers

Shift Options
Shift 1 — Morning Setup & Registration
Time: 09:30–14:00 (4.5 hours)
Ideal for: Early birds, organised people, friendly faces.
Shift 2 — Midday Race Operations
Time: 12:00–17:30 (5.5 hours)
Ideal for: People who enjoy being in the action.
Shift 3 — Afternoon & Sundown Support
Time: 16:00–21:30 (5.5 hours)
Ideal for: Those who want to support the long‑course athletes and finish‑line atmosphere.

After one amazing weekend with our amazing volunteers, we want to say a MASSIVE thank you, to you all!

From helping with setting up on Saturday, marshalling the event on Sunday and attending to help dismantle the equipment - we couldn’t be more greatful!

As we recover from the weekend, Nigel and Matt are already looking forward to the Sundowner on September 12th

We’re always on the lookout for more volunteers and these events cannot go ahead without the support of the volunteers

The RACE photographs will soon be uploaded to the website so you can download, free of charge and please keep tagging us in your posts!

FLASH SALE

There has been a massive interest in extremely late entries for Bishopton Tri

We appreciate that many of you have enquired in the past week, however our normal practice would be ‘no’

As we aren’t fully sold out, we will be opening entries between 5-8pm tonight, for the absolute last time, we are just extremely tight with suppliers etc in terms of timing, racking, production lines etc.

However - we cannot fully guarantee you an event tshirt and a medal due to the close proximity to the event.

We will always aim to put people first to accommodate where possible and this is why we are opening tonight.

Please understand that this business is only a fledgling business ran by two people, part time and trying to meet the need of everyone is quite difficult

As a final request, we know that many of you have signed up to marshal and are interested in competing in the event - if you decide to change to compete, PLEASE let us know ASAP and if you can find someone to take your marshalling spot, we would be forever greatful!

We unfortunately cannot have the Fire and Ice Sauna and Ice Bath 😢

This was going to be a new addition to the Bishopton event, open to participants, Marshalls - Matt and Nige…..

Naturally I’m sure you can understand the crucial safety aspect around it all!

Can you help on Sunday 23rd August?

We are in need of some additional volunteers if you can. Or if you are coming to support a competitor and would be available before the race starts - helping with car parking or registration etc.

As a thank you we offer what we think is a nice package.
Breakfast, tea/coffee, Event/Volunteer T-shirt, Free entry to a future event, and at Bishopton we have a complimentary Sauna and Ice bath for you too.

All of this as well as a massive thank you and appreciation for your efforts and energy.

Free entry can be passed on to others if you don't race yourself.
