Located in peaceful countryside between Darlington and Stockton, North East Wake Park is easily reached from the A1, A19 and A66 road systems. By car it is only 35 minutes from Gateshead Metro Centre, 10 minutes from Middlesborough or Darlington and 35 minutes from York. Our 17 acre lake has 2 Sesitec System 2.0’s wakeboard ski tow systems with obstacles to challenge riders, changing facilities and spectator areas close to the action. A Sesitec System 2.0 makes learning to wakeboard easy and positive. The upwards pull enables effortless starts and has proven to be very easy sport to learn and has an amazingly quick progression ladder for developing and improving. With its continuous ride and strong tension it also allows advanced riders to progress tricks or improve their rail-riding skills rapidly, allowing many more repitions of tricks in a single session than by boat , full cable or winch.This cable system has incredible speed control and a high pull. Our fully trained staff love to see people making a successful start into the sport and developing their skills and techniques, helping them progress onto obstacles and advanced techniques. Wakeboarding is a sport for a wide variety of ages and abilities. We run kids’ clubs, ladies only sessions, we are an relaxed and safe venue and love teaching anyone from beginners to Advanced. As well as Wake Boarding, we also offer Open Water Swimming, Paddleboarding, Aquapark and Kayak, plus our Our Shop Surfstore, stocking a wide range of equipment and accessories for all watersports activities .
