1v1s with Darragh & David 🔥⚽️

I like to include opposed/semi opposed drills into sessions when I have 2-1s, 3-1s or small groups.
Here is a variation of a 1v1 with Darragh & David in a semi opposed drill

Emphasising body feints, ball manipulation and sharp bursts to find a mini goal for the attacker and for the defender staying as tight as possible (without crossing the line) staying low with small steps, getting in the passing line and blocking properly 🧱

Always a good session with these lads who are both good players playing for Boro u12s and Darlington u13s and want to keep pushing eachother to improve (just won’t let his younger brother tie his laces 😆)

Leven AFC u12s - Division 1🔥⚽️

Team training is something I really enjoy coaching, I have a few teams currently that I coach weekly and I love introducing drills and practises that I was coached during my career

These lads were quality last week, I put a session on inspired by an ex-Premier League and Championship manager I played under who loved these practises, they showed real good quality and a will to defend and desire not to be beat 👏🏼

Pro sessions, Pro standards 📈
