As days go, yesterday was simply brilliant.
We played our first home game in a long time against tough opposition in Westoe RFC 2s who played the game in the best of spirits with players being shared across both teams.
P&S fielded a strong team of current, returning and former club players, joined by Jarrovians RUFC, Ponteland Rugby Club, Winlaton Vulcans RFC, Consett Rugby Club. A huge thanks to them for helping us ensure the game took place.

The game was expertly officiated by Yannick Laurent Romuald D***l - Northumberland Rugby Union Referee Society. Thanks again for coming down and supporting the fixture.
Post match pies were supplied by Rosie’s Farm Shop - they flew out the kitchen with lots of takers for seconds.
Finally, thanks to Stocksfield Cricket Club for keeping us well hydrated at the bar. Fantastic as always!
This was an important day for P&S. It’s no secret that the last few seasons have been tough and we need to continue hosting fixtures like this to ensure the future of the club.
