Huge congratulations to our superstar marshal who is now also a MARATHON RUNNER! Rick Douglas did his first (accidental) half marathon with us in August 2025, and at Freddie Purrcury Run few days ago, Rik has completed his first (accidental) full marathon! On a course with over 2000ft elevation!
Congratulations, Rik! 🫶🏻

We love bringing something a little different to our events, and this one's extra special!

We're delighted to welcome Phoenix legend Yvonne to Manchester, bringing along her gorgeous handmade fuzzy bees!

Every runner will take home a bee alongside their medal, completely free of charge - we're covering the cost of the bees, with a donation going to Rays of Sunshine, a fantastic charity that Yvonne has proudly supported for many years.

Wings of Remembrance 2026

Join us at Alexandra Park, Oldham for the much-requested Lancaster Bomber medal event - a fitting tribute, given that the Lancaster Bomber was designed and built right here in Chadderton, Oldham.

We'll pause for a 2-minute silence at 11am to mark the occasion.

🍛 A Phoenix Manchester Classic: (Takeaway) Biryani Run! 🍛

Back by popular demand! Last year's runners raved about our legendary takeaway biryani, so it's making a comeback - and this time we've got extra reason to celebrate.

🎉 It's RD Priya's Birthday! We're marking the occasion with her favourite food - Biryani - and of course, there'll be cake too!
