Congratulations to these Ki Combat Taekwondo students who rose to the occasion at their grading exam the night before Good Friday.

Like Easter which marks a time of renewal— they achieved their new belts symbolising growth, commitment, and a new start onto the next stage of their syllabus towards the coveted Black Belt.

This is only a handful of the students who graded from a large group on the night and were back at training today. Many more results are to be given out throughout the week when the other students return to class as they are away this Easter weekend.

Why not come and join them at the key (Ki) Taekwondo club that delivers consistent regular high standard training via a senior Master Grade Instructor with vast experience in all aspects of the art!

No Sabeon Nim (instructor) wants to tell a student they’re not ready.
But a real teacher understands this truth:
standards matter.

In a world full of participation awards, martial arts stands apart. Showing up is only the beginning.
Progress comes from effort, discipline, and commitment—day after day.

We teach the path.
We drill the fundamentals.
Then the student does the work.

When a student returns ready to prove mastery, promotion becomes meaningful—because it represents who they’ve become, not just how long they’ve been around.

There are no participation trophies in a real dojang.
Only progress.

A Teachers responsibility is not comfort—it’s transformation.
