The scale will lie to you every single week if you let it.

It doesn’t just measure fat. It measures water, food, stress, sleep, salt intake, all of it. And all of it fluctuates daily.

Most people bail on a plan that’s actually working because they don’t understand what they’re looking at.

If you’re consistent and you’re in a deficit, fat loss is happening. The scale will catch up.

Stay on plan. Because the one thing that will guarantee you drop body fat or weight is if you go off plan because the scale annoyed you

Most people’s problem isn’t the cut, It’s what comes after.

They crash out of a deficit, eat everything in sight, and wonder why they’re back to square one three months later.
The reverse and the building phase are where the real work is.

Do them properly and you hold your condition, build momentum, and actually progress year to year.

Do them wrong and you’re just cycling between the same two versions of yourself.

That’s what we’re building here with Ian, a process that compounds.

I hear it so many times in consultations, my trainings fine I just need to sort out my nutrition

Nutrition is important, but if your training isn’t up to the standard of the physique you’re trying to achieve. Your leaving so much on the table when it comes to progress

No matter how long you’ve been training it can always be improved

This is why you’re not losing weight.

You’re not in a deficit. You think you are, but you’re not.
One heaped spoon of peanut butter instead of a measured portion. That’s 120 calories gone from a 300 calorie deficit without even thinking about it.

Then a bit more rice. Extra banana. A square of chocolate. A nibble throughout the day.

Your deficit’s gone. You’re at maintenance. Maybe above it.
That’s why the scale isn’t moving. Not your metabolism. Not a medical condition. Just the little extras creeping in every day.
Weigh your food.

Your motivation will run out. It always does.

Monday you’re buzzing to start your diet. Thursday you’re face-deep in a takeaway wondering what went wrong.

The people getting results aren’t more motivated than you. They’ve just built different habits.

It was becoming the type of person who meal preps on Sunday whether he feels like it or not. Who shows up to train even when work’s been s**t. Who sticks to the plan because that’s just what he does now.

Every client I’ve coached long-term, same story. The habits carry them when motivation f***s off.

Stop waiting to feel motivated. Start acting like the person you want to become.
