This week we had wins from our Ladies 2 v Cheadle and our Ladies 3 v Woodside.
Our Men’s 1st had a well fought draw against Handforth Hall. Well played everyone!

We also have a new Mellor Tennis Club Ladies Doubles Trophy - the ‘Helen Makin and Hilary Taylor’ trophy named in appreciation of two outstanding long term members of our club, still enjoying a successful, competitive doubles partnership. They both also celebrate big birthdays this year so congratulations ladies 🥂

Another great week for our teams
Men’s 3 beat Styal 1, Ladies 2 beat Macclesfield 5 and Mellor beat Urmston in the daytime league. Men’s 2’s match tonight has been postponed and Ladies 1 & 3 had losses this week against strong Knutsford and Hazel Grove teams. Well played everyone 🎾
It’s a bit quieter on our courts next week but we have our members Social night on Wednesday 3rd June - please join us if you can!
