Oh my word, what an absolute delight to sit down with Matt Coyne (aka Man vs Baby) in front of the loveliest people in a packed out room to talk about his brilliant new book The Trouble with Sister Francis, and our most loved book club book for 2025, Frank and Red.

We also discussed the power of speaking your mind, honesty in life and writing and so much more.

Matt’s books (including his non fiction on parenthood and children’s picture books) are playful and captivating, written in a way only Matt can, while tackling tricky topics, with grown-ups showing up for kids in a time of need often the theme. We look forward to seeing you for your next book Matt! And thank you for making the journey to Romiley!

A great morning supporting renowned brain scientist who was the keynote speaker for the BERA conference at Manchester University for The Lost Girls of Autism and her study into the emerging science of female autism and uncovering why it has been ignored misunderstood for so long.

Hugely close to my heart, it was an honour to be there and Gina has generously signed some copies of the book which are available in the Romiley bookshop from tomorrow. 💙💚🤍

We’re very excited to be welcoming two giants of crime fiction - Erin Kelly and Abir Mukherjee - to Romiley on Tuesday 29th September to celebrate the release of their latest novels The Night Stairs and The Pinnacle. Taking us from the gothic shadows of a prestigious English Catholic boarding school, to the rarified heights of one of India’s tallest and most prestigious high-rises, these gripping new thrillers showcase two incredible writers at the peak of their talents.

Tickets are £6.00 each, £16.99 including a copy of The Night Stairs or The Pinnacle, or £32 for a ticket and a copy of both books (saving you £1.98 off the RRP) Light refreshments are included in the ticket price.

Event starts at 6:30pm (doors at 6pm)
