Your Davenport LTC Membership for 2026/27! Please read.
Dear Members,
As we get ready to kick off the new 2026/27 tennis season today, we have some news regarding how we handle club memberships.
To make things simpler and more secure, we are saying goodbye to the old system of manual bank transfers and invoices. Instead, we are moving our membership sign-ups to ClubSpark, the LTA’s official online platform, which is already used by most tennis clubs nationally.
This year, everyone will sign up as if they are a 'brand new member' for our online system. From next year, it will be a renewal on the system. This means we get up to date information and you can choose the packages that suit you.
How to join online:
1. Visit our Membership Page: Click here to go to our new ClubSpark page: https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/DavenportLTC/Membership/Join
2. Choose Your Package: Select the membership that applies to you (e.g., Adult Membership, Daytime, etc.) and click "Join now". Please make sure to read the option for photo consent at the bottom of the page.
3. Sign In / Register: You will be prompted to log in. If you already have an LTA account, you can use those details. If not, it only takes a minute to register for a free account. If you can’t remember your password, you can reset it.
4. Fill in Your Details: Confirm your contact information so we have your most up-to-date details on file.
5. Set Up Payment: We are using a secure payment provider called GoCardless. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to enter your bank details. GoCardless will safely process your payment as a one-off Direct Debit straight from your account—just like a bank transfer, but completely automated for you!
Signing Up More Than One Person?
If you need to register partners or children, here is how it works:
• If you are buying a Family Package: You only need to purchase the package once! After you have paid for the main package, the system will prompt you to type in the names and details of the other family members to link them to your account.
• If you are buying separate individual memberships (e.g., an Adult and a separate Junior): Complete your own membership purchase first. Then, return to the membership page, select the next package (like the Junior one), and click "Join now". The system should ask you "Who is this membership for?"—simply select the option to add a new person under your existing account.
Why the change? Moving to ClubSpark significantly reduces the administrative heavy lifting for our volunteer committee and provides a much smoother, quicker experience for you.
When you join, you will automatically be granted access to the court booking system. You will need to join by the end of April so that you don’t lose access.
There may be some technical issues with this being the first year we are using the system, but once we are fully up and running, it should work really well. If you have any trouble accessing the new system, please don't hesitate to reply directly to this email and we will be happy to help you get set up. In the next day or two, We will also let you know about an evening for next week where you can come down and get some technical support to sign up online for the first time.
The Committee would like to thank David Elliott for his work on invoicing members over the years. By doing this, we have been able to take our time with Clubspark and let the LTA work out any problems on their side.
