Tomorrow (Saturday August 17th) we will be running 2 Mini LTA Team Challenge fun tournaments at West Heaton for the following age groups:
Red Team Challenge - (8 & under) 10am - 11.30am
Orange Team Challenge - (10 & under) 11.30am - 1pm
Great starter tournaments, team and individual winners, and lots of prizes to win!

Our September 2024 Term time courses are now available to book, using the link below. We have groups available for all ages and standards, and also some specific starter groups for girls (aged 4(Reception from September) to 8 years of age as well as one which is for girls aged 11 - 15 years of age (look out for Prime Video LTA Youth Girls courses).

Got a son or daughter aged between 5 and 8 looking to take up tennis? We have 2 fantastic starter courses scheduled to begin next week at West Heaton Tennis Club.
Both courses are sponsored by The LTA, and provide each player with a brand new tennis racket, branded T-shirt, pack of balls, wristbands and 6 group lessons with one of our qualified coaches!

Our next Adult Beginners course (Tennis Xpress) is due to start on Saturday April 20th (3 - 4pm each week). We only have 3 spaces left!
This 6 week course will teach you all the specific shots to get you up and running, or get you back up and running if you have had a long break!
Lots of fun, meet new friends, and learn to play a great sport at a fantastic club!

A fun and social group coaching course which helps adult beginners to get into tennis. Tennis Xpress teaches the foundations of the game so that by the end of the six week course you will be able to enjoy fun matches with friends, family or other people that you meet.

Our next LTA Youth Start (Beginner) class for children in Reception / Year 1 and Year 2 starts next Tuesday (April 16th) at West Heaton Tennis Club (Opposite Tithe Barn) and will run from 4pm until 4.45pm each week.

Our Easter Tennis Camps at West Heaton are just over a week away and places are being booked quickly. We have 3 options for the various age ranges as follows:
Reception to Year 1 children - Mini Camps - 8.45 - 9.45 daily

Year 2 to Year 7 children - Main Camps - 10am - 3.30pm daily (with 8.30 drop off option and 5pm pick up option as extras)

Year 8 to Year 12 children - Teen Camp - 1 - 3pm daily

We will be running camps over Easter as follows:

Week 1 - Monday April 3rd to Thursday April 6th x 4 days

Week 2 - Tuesday April 11th to Thursday April 13th x 3 days

After Easter we have 2 brand new classes coming on board for children who have never played before, or perhaps played for half a term some time ago and want to give Tennis another go! The sessions will be geared towards new starters, so please feel free to pass this on to anyone who may be interested.
Both classes are aimed at children aged between 5 (or Reception at school) and 8 years of age.

As we near the end of 2022 we would like to thank all our clients for your continued support. As the coaching staff take a well earned rest, i will be busy working on plans to make 2023 the best year year (and the clubs 150th year!)
