For many people, the idea of coaching can feel a little unknown at first.
You might wonder whether you need to arrive with a clear goal, a perfectly formed problem or a plan for what you want to change.

You don’t!

A coaching session is a calm, confidential space to pause and explore what is really going on beneath the surface. It is a conversation that gives you room to think clearly, make sense of what feels heavy or uncertain and begin to reconnect with what you need, want and value.

Sometimes we talk about confidence, boundaries, change, identity, work, relationships or the quiet feeling that something no longer feels right.
Sometimes the session begins with one thing and gently opens up into something deeper, because life is rarely neat and our thoughts do not always arrive in tidy order.

You will not be rushed, pushed or told what to do. Coaching is not about someone else giving you all the answers. It is about being supported to hear yourself more clearly, understand what is pulling on your energy and find a way forward that feels honest and manageable for you.

You do not need to have it all figured out before you begin.

Tomorrow marks the start of my new Tuesday Talks.

Every Tuesday at 1pm, I’ll be hosting a free 30-minute online session where we’ll explore some of the topics that come up time and time again in my coaching conversations.

Things like:

🌿 Boundaries without guilt
🌿 Confidence and self-trust
🌿 Relationships and communication
🌿 Overwhelm and burnout
🌿 Menopause, midlife and identity

There won’t be any pressure, perfection or pretending to have it all together.

Just honest conversations, practical ideas, and a chance to pause and reflect in the middle of a busy week.

Today is World Environment Day and that can make us think about the world around us. The spaces we live in, the air we breathe, the things we consume and the impact our choices have on the environment.

But your inner environment matters too.

The thoughts you sit with each day, the pressure you carry, the expectations you absorb and the pace you keep pushing yourself through all shape how you feel, how you respond and how much energy you have left for yourself.

Sometimes we become so focused on managing everything outside of us that we forget to notice what is happening within us.

So today can be a gentle invitation to pause and ask what is taking up too much space in your mind, what you may need to clear or soften, and what would help you feel more grounded in yourself again.

Emotional load is not always about what you do. It is often the weight of everything you notice, remember, anticipate and quietly hold together.

It is remembering the appointments, noticing the shift in someone’s mood, thinking ahead to what needs organising, replaying conversations in your mind and sensing what other people need before they have even said it out loud.

It is the quiet responsibility of keeping things moving, keeping the peace and holding so much in your head that nobody else can see.

And because so much of it is invisible, it can be hard to explain why you feel so tired. You might still be showing up, working, caring, managing and doing all the things people expect of you, but that does not mean it is not heavy.

Carrying it quietly does not mean it is easy.

Coaching offers space to pause, untangle what is pulling on your energy and begin to understand what you need too. Not because you are failing, but because you were never meant to hold everything alone.

New month energy does not have to mean becoming a completely new version of yourself!

It does not have to mean setting bigger goals, changing everything overnight or putting more pressure on yourself to do better, be better or hold even more.

Sometimes a new month is simply an invitation to pause and notice what is already asking for your attention ⏸️

It might be the tiredness you keep pushing through, the pressure you have normalised, the boundaries that feel harder to hold, or the quiet feeling that you are ready for something to shift.

Not in a rushed way. Not with force. But with honesty.

As this new month begins, give yourself permission to ask what you need more of, what feels too heavy to keep carrying and what would help you feel more steady, supported and connected to yourself again.

Change does not always begin with a big decision. Sometimes it begins with one calm moment of noticing.

Emotional load doesn’t always look dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like …

🤍 Remembering everything for everyone
🤍 Replying to messages while mentally planning dinner
🤍 Carrying responsibility quietly
🤍 Feeling overstimulated but pushing through anyway
🤍 Never fully switching off

It’s the invisible mental and emotional weight so many people carry every single day while still appearing “fine” on the outside.

Sometimes people don’t realise how heavy it’s become until they feel exhausted, irritable, disconnected or emotionally flat.

Emotional load isn’t weakness.
It’s a sign that your mind and nervous system may have been holding too much for too long without enough space to recover.

You are allowed to acknowledge that.
And you are allowed to need support before you completely burn out.

Confidence and self trust are often spoken about as if they’re the same thing.

But they’re not always growing at the same pace.

You can appear confident on the outside
and still second guess yourself internally.

Self-trust is the relationship you have with yourself when nobody else is validating you.
It’s trusting your own judgement, listening to your needs, believing yourself when something feels off and backing yourself without needing proof.

For many people, removing doubt and building self-trust can feel like a journey.

My one-to-one coaching offers dedicated, confidential space to explore what’s changing, what feels out of balance, and what you want to move towards.

Maybe it’s confidence?
Maybe it’s stronger boundaries?
Maybe it’s simply the ability to pause before saying yes to everything and everyone?

One thing that’s really important to me is that no two people are treated the same 🤍

Every session is tailored to the individual sat in front of me because everybody’s experiences, challenges and goals are different.

Before we begin working together I always have an initial conversation with my client to understand where they are right now, what feels challenging and how they would like to feel by the end of our time together.

At the start of each session, we check in properly …
🩷 How are you feeling today?
🩷 What do you want to focus on?
🩷 How do you want to feel by the end of this session?
🩷 And how will you know you’ve got what you needed from it?

I create a calm, safe space where people feel heard without judgement or pressure as we work through the answers.

Throughout the session I check in to make sure we’re moving in the direction they want and at the end we reflect on what’s been most valuable or what’s shifted for them.

Sometimes I’m able to share practical tools or techniques they can use between sessions to support them in everyday life.

After each session clients receive a personalised summary along with any tools or reflections we explored together so they can continue building on the work in their own time.

Coaching isn’t about giving people all the answers. It’s about helping them reconnect with themselves so they can move forward with more clarity, confidence and self trust.

Together we focus on rebuilding confidence, understanding what’s pulling on your energy and helping you move forward with more clarity, balance and self trust.

People often come to me during periods of change, whether that’s in work, relationships, motherhood, menopause or life in general when they know something needs to shift but they’re not sure where to start.
