Lovely morning to open up the wildfowl season, a slow morning but it’s always a privilege to be out early. We still have an open slot for a group hunt at the height of the season. These spots are normally filled annually by returning groups, so it’s a good opportunity to get in this season

Our recce into Canada’s stunning Northern Territories proved successful. Despite the late spring we were able to connect with a nice big boar. This is active chase black bear with no bait, and it’s definitely viable. Anyone interested in stalking black bear in this stunning and exciting location we are taking bookings for next season, and happy to endorse this hunt.

We’ve just got back from a trip to stalk black bears in Canada’s North West Territories. Choosing to go following their coldest winter in 70 years, meant a late spring and bears still hibernating. What we did see however, was something unplanned yet totally mind blowing - the arctic breakup.

Following on from my post the other day about the beauty of malform roe bucks. It’s also great to take trophies. Would have been nice to let this buck sow some more oats, but unfortunately the luxury of time wasn’t granted on this bit of ground.
