❤️ Thank you, HEARTBUOY!

A huge thank you to HEARTBUOY for kindly providing Phoenix Aquatics with their innovative swim training product to try.

First impressions — they look fantastic! ❤️ A really eye-catching, distinctive design that stands out on poolside, as well as being a genuinely versatile piece of training equipment.

The unique heart shape means we can use it between the thighs, at the ankles, as a traditional pull buoy, or in the hands for kick and streamline work.

We’re particularly excited to experiment with the ankle position, where the lower buoyancy challenges swimmers to maintain their own hip position, body line and core control rather than relying on the artificial lift of a larger conventional pull buoy.

We’re always looking for different ways to challenge our swimmers and keep training effective, purposeful and interesting, so we’re looking forward to putting our HEARTBUOY equipment through its paces over the next few weeks.

An amazing achievement, made even more remarkable after receiving a 20-point forfeit because we didn’t have enough swimmers to fill the team.

A huge congratulations to Ethan and Logan 👏🔥

Phoenix Aquatics isn’t even one year old yet, and the journey hasn’t always been easy. Limited pool time and the challenges of building a new programme have meant finding different ways to train, adapt and keep moving forward.

To see Ethan selected for the Youth Academy and Logan selected for the Senior Academy is a fantastic achievement and recognition of their hard work and performances.

They’ve shown that resilience, consistency and belief in the process matter. Despite the obstacles, they’ve continued to improve and, most importantly, perform when it counts.

Proud of you both — and proud of what we’re building at Phoenix Aquatics. 🐦‍🔥💪
