Save the date!
On 8th August, Bridge of Allan Sports Club will be hosting a Family Racketlon.
Fundraiser 'Smash, Sizzle & Serve!' and we'd love to see as many members, families and friends there as possible.
This will be a fun-filled day bringing together all sections of the club, with sport, food, games, entertainment and plenty of opportunities to socialise. Most importantly, we'll be raising funds towards several exciting projects for the club, including a new padel court, new tennis court surfaces and floodlights.
For those who haven't heard of a Racketlon before, it's a fun event involving multiple racket sports. Participants will compete in tennis, squash, table tennis and padel, making it a fantastic challenge that is suitable for all ages and abilities. More details on how to enter and take part will be shared soon.
As well as the Racketlon itself, we're planning:

🎾Tombola and fundraising activities
🎾Games and activities for children and adults
🎾Home baking and refreshments
🎾A great family atmosphere for everyone to enjoy
As we get closer to the event, we'll be looking for volunteers, tombola prizes, home baking, and loans of equipment such as gazebos, BBQs and giant garden games. And, of course, we'll need plenty of players to take part in the Racketlon, so please keep an eye out for further updates.
For now, simply put 8th August in your diary and help us make this a fantastic day for the club. If you already have something you think could be useful, or you'd like to join our team of volunteers, we'd love to hear from you.
More generally, we're always keen to hear new fundraising ideas and welcome anyone who would like to help organise or run fundraising events for the club. Whether it's a oneoff event, a sponsorship opportunity, or a completely new idea, we'd love to hear your suggestions.
Let's come together as a club, have some fun, and help create even better facilities for everyone.
