Always a pleasure to welcome 6th degree Brazilian BJJ black belt Roberto Atalla to our gym.

We had some promotions last night also, Greg was promoted to blue, great to see as he has been at a while but some injuries and lay offs have pro longed his journey to blue.

The 3 musketeers of James, Greg and David all promoted to brown, all pushing 10 years of training, always on the mat and an integral part of the BJJ team, always available whenever I need some help.

And my first coach and the guy that helped me launch Chimera Jiu Jitsu 16 years ago, the one and only Cougar, there from day 1 and someone I know consider a close friend being promoted to black belt was a sight to behold.

Always a real treat when it was time for oor Davy to lace up the gloves. 🥊

Decembers during my brilliant time at Chimera MMA was fight time for me. After coaching and cornering active fighters throughout the year it was always good to step between the ropes myself.
I have been fortunate to have had amazing team mates to help me be in the best shape and mindset possible, and also great opponents who delivered tough challenges🙏
