We’re delighted to welcome SMART Stirling back as a Race Partner for this year’s Podfather Stirling 10K!

Once again, the team will be on hand offering FREE pre and post race massage to our runners.

It’s always hugely popular, with runners making the most of the expert treatment before they take on the 10K and then helping those tired legs recover afterwards!

We’re incredibly grateful for SMART Stirling’s continued support of the event and it’s fantastic to have them involved again. 👏

📬 Race Numbers 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We are about to start posting out race numbers! These are sent in batches, so don’t worry if yours arrives at a different time from friends or family- deliveries will come over a few days.

✅ Same as last year:
• Green numbers 🌱 = Plant a Tree option
• White numbers 👕 = Race T-shirt option

Some numbers will also have an “M” printed on them. This is to show that the runner has opted for a medal 🏅 helping our team make sure medals go to the right people at the finish line!

From 744 runners in 2022 to an incredible 1,427 entries for 2026! 🥳

The Podfather Stirling 10K continues to grow year on year, and we honestly couldn’t do it without the amazing support of our runners, families, volunteers, sponsors and supporters.

As a volunteer organised event, it means so much to us to see the race continue to grow. Even better, any profits from the event are put back into grassroots athletics, helping support the next generation of runners in our local community. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The Podfather Stirling 10K isn’t just for the grown ups… we’ve also got two fantastic events for our young runners!

👟 2K Fun Run – Ages 5-9
👟 3.5K Fun Run – Ages 10-14

We’re thrilled that nearly 150 young legends have already signed up!

If your child enjoys junior parkrun on a Sunday morning, this is the perfect next step. They’ll experience the excitement of a big race day, running with hundreds of others and enjoying the incredible atmosphere as they start and finish on the same line as the main Podfather Stirling 10K in front of a very encouraging crowd!

And for any youngsters who’d like a little support, parents, grandparents or other adults are welcome to run alongside them free of charge-there’s no need for adults to enter or sign up.

For just £6, every youngster receives:
🏅 A fantastic finisher’s medal
🎁 A goody bag
🏰 FREE entertainment including bouncy castles
🎨 Face painting
🎉 A brilliant family day out!

Runners love their stats 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

With entries closing soon, we thought we’d take a look at the numbers behind this year’s Podfather Stirling 10K… and there are some great stats already emerging! 👇

❤️ One of our favourites is the almost perfect split between male and female runners, with 52% male and 48% female. It’s fantastic to see such a balanced field lining up on the start line.

👏 A huge shout out goes to Dundee Road Runners, who currently top the club standings with an incredible 57 runners entered! Thank you to everyone at the club for your fantastic support, and to all the other running clubs who continue to encourage their members to take part in our event year after year.

⭐ And finally, a very special mention to George Inglis, who is set to take on the Podfather Stirling 10K at the remarkable age of 86. George is a brilliant example that running really is for everyone, and we can’t wait to see him on the start line.
