Stirling Triathlon Club have a number of swimming coach opportunities available.

Junior Swim Coach:

We are seeking an engaging and enthusiastic coach to lead our junior swim section. You will be coaching a maximum of 18 juniors, aged between 8 and 15, across 3 swim lanes.

The session is on a Wednesday 8-9pm at University of Stirling swimming pool.

Adult Swim Coaches:

To assist and support the Head Coach, and lead the delivery of coaching sessions to adult swimmers of varying abilities.

Sessions are Wednesdays 8-9pm at the University of Stirling Pool, and Saturdays 7am-8am at The Peak, Stirling.


Coaches must hold a swimming teacher or triathlon coaching certificate
Payment according to level of qualification held

This isn't a team building exercise but it is TEAMWORK

Fiona didn't want to get her new trainers wet so Cara stepped in and provided a piggyback across the water ably assisted by Laura

And then a minute later Paula discovered a bridge ...and a few minutes later Fiona stood in a cowpat (which she thought was a stone) so her shoes got christened another way 🤣

You couldn't make it up 😆

Fun adventures on our Tuesday night run. Sometimes it's not about distance or speed but just getting out into nature with like minded people and having lots and lots of laughs 😁

Thursday night intervals is where the fun's at !! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Here's a round of photos from sessions over the last few months.

If you want to improve your running and fitness, intervals is the session for you - we run in the University of Stirling grounds (or close by) and the sessions typically run in 6 week blocks.

The sessions are open to all abilities, we run in laps so no-one is 'at the back' , they are included in your Stirling Tri Club membership fee, and you will feel much better for them.

A new block starts this week (5th June) so members, come along and join in the fun 🤸‍♀️🏃‍♀️🤸‍♀️🏃‍♀️🤸‍♀️

It's the first full week of January and we're back in the swing of things - kind of!

This cold spell may have scuppered a couple of runs due to icy surfaces but it doesn't stop us from swimming.

Welcome back to our Wednesday night swimmers. Hands up who thought the water felt like treacle tonight 🙋‍♂️

A day to put your feet up, spend time with friends and family, and congratulate yourself on all you have achieved this year.

Have a fabulous day, eat loads (don't worry about the calories - plenty of time to burn them off in the following days!), and we'll see you for some more

Great work and cameraderie from everyone over the year and fantastic to see new faces join in the fun.

Go steady on the Christmas chocolates and drinks and we'll be back on 7th January for the start of the group runs again.🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

A November round up as it's been a busy month with our weekly social runs, Thursday intervals, 4 weekly swim sessions, a social evening, 2 coach cpds, a first aid course and a social gravel ride in Aberfoyle!

1. Our weekly Thursday Intervals
2&3. An Interview with club member Kirstie about her journey from couch to Challenge Roth, including drinks and buffet
4. Coaches CPD on front crawl technique
5. Another chilly intervals session
6&7. First Aid course ran by our expert Will, and we were joined by members of Grangemouth Triathlon Club too
8&9. Social Gravel Ride at Aberfoyle
10. A temperature drop for an even colder Thursday Interval session
