As of the 13th March, I will be commencing a new role at the Royal Burgess Golfing Society as a PGA Assistant Trainee. This will no doubt be an exciting new chapter as I look forward to starting and meeting the members. I would like to thank Bobby, Calum, everyone at Fairways Golf and Braehead Golf Club for their time and starting me out in my professional career.

Very useful insight Graeme Robertson Golf 👏🏻

Always amazes me how underused this part of the facility is. Only players I see use this consistently are Professional and low single figure handicaps.
With Trackman Putting Analysis and Visio Putting products available on request there is no excuse!

Working with Mark Napier on his wedges and dialling in those distances.

Mark was struggling with distance control, so we shortened his swing and made it more compact which allowed him to commit to the shot and distance a lot more

In the first picture, Matty transferring his weight through the downswing to improve his strike. Not swaying back and making sure his hands are ahead of the ball at impact.

And Stephen, working on his club path to get as close to 0 degrees as possible to reduce his bad right shot.

Good work with Cammy yesterday Fairways Golf Studios - Falkirk

We focused on takeaway and weight distribution throughout the swing. Cammy had a tendency to bring the club inside on the way back and sway his weight back while doing so causing an inconsistent strike.

Therefore, we got him feeling like he is taking the club away on the outside and shifting his weight forward at setup to reduce his swayin on the way back. We never need to help the ball get in the air, hitting down on the ball and using the spin will result in the ball going in the air not lifting up. 💪🏼
