💙✨ We are incredibly proud to announce that Dance Beat will be performing at Tillie Mae’s Carnival of Hope on Saturday 27th June. ✨💙
When Tillie Mae’s parents invited us to be part of this very special event, we didn’t hesitate for a second. We were absolutely honoured and jumped at the opportunity to support such a wonderful cause that is so close to our hearts.
Tillie Mae’s older sister, Lexie, grew up dancing with us and was taught by many of the Dance Beat teaching team throughout her journey to dance success. Watching her develop into the incredible dancer she is today has been a privilege, and it makes this event even more meaningful for our Dance Beat family.

For many years, we have proudly supported the MPS Society by wearing blue and helping to raise awareness with many of you joining us and posting on your platforms, so being involved in the Carnival of Hope is something we are truly passionate about.

We’ll be performing some Rock ‘n’ Roll, which was always one of Tillie Mae’s favourite styles to watch when she came along to see Lexie’ private lessons. We can’t wait to dance in her honour and celebrate with her and her wonderful family!

✨ CAMBRIDGE QUALIFIER RESULTS ✨

What a phenomenal day at our Cambridge Area Disco Freestyle Qualifier — the second-to-last competition of our season! 💙

We had 9 fabulous students take to the competition floor for Set Dance, including 3 first-timers who danced brilliantly. We’re delighted to say we added another 3 Set Dance finalists to our squad, with 2 lucky students securing their place at the Grand Finals! 🌟

Next up was Rock ‘n’ Roll, where we saw a brand-new Under 10 couple make their competition debut. They danced with confidence, determination and huge potential for the future — we can’t wait to watch their journey unfold! 💫

Our two remaining Rock ‘n’ Roll couples also gave fantastic performances, with one partnership achieving that elusive 1st place finish and booking their ticket to the Grand Finals! 🏆

Moving on to Solos, we celebrated 3 successful finalists who placed 🥈🥈🥉 in their respective categories. An incredible achievement against strong competition!

We finished the day with Pairs, where both of our partnerships reached their finals and represented the squad beautifully. 👏

A special mention has to go to our first Over 21 competitor in five years, who WON her category! 🎉 It was such a privilege to spend your 21st birthday weekend with you and celebrate such a fantastic achievement.

And finally, to my 3 newest squad members — you should be so proud of yourselves. Your future is incredibly bright, and this is only the beginning. Keep working hard in class, keep believing in yourselves, and I can’t wait to see where your competition journey takes you. ✨

So much hard work, determination and team spirit on display today. We couldn’t be prouder of every single dancer. ❤️

🤍 IMPACT 2026🤍

16 dancers. Two completely different training nights. Levels ranging from Social Dance Test through to Gold Star. And somehow… when competition day comes, they step onto the floor and become one team. 💙

Watching IMPACT perform at H2 2026 filled me with so much pride. This routine has little nods to inspirations we love, moments woven in with intention, and every single dancer has brought something uniquely theirs to it.

What makes this even more special is that these dancers rarely get the chance to rehearse all together outside of competitions. The way they continue to trust each other, support each other, and dance as a unit despite that is something I’ll never stop being proud of.

Creating for this team is such a privilege. To see them take choreography and make it their own, to watch their confidence grow, and to witness how hard they work… I genuinely love, love, LOVE the way they’re dancing this routine.

This performance was special it was our last outing fully before October. But I know there’s more in the tank. More tweaks, more growth, more magic to come before Grand Finals — and I cannot wait to see where we take it.

So proud of every single one of you, IMPACT. Thank you for trusting me, and thank you for dancing this with your whole hearts. ✨

What an unforgettable THREE weeks for these six stunning students ❤️🏆

Three competitions back-to-back, endless hard work, determination, resilience, and talent — and the results speak for themselves…

✨ 1 DFR Set Dance Qualifier
✨ 5 Rock & Roll Final Placings
✨ 1 Couple Qualified for Grand Finals
✨ 2 Team Entries — BOTH WON 🏆🏆
✨ 3 Disco Solo Finalist Places
✨ 3 Disco Freestyle Pairs Finalist Places
✨ 1 Student Qualified for an A Final in Street Dance and is heading to GRAND FINALS 🌟
✨ 1 Student achieved a B Final in Street Dance
✨ 2 Street Dance Pairs Couples made their Finals

And altogether… these girls have brought home an incredible 37 medals/trophies/pin badges in just THREE WEEKS 🤯🥇✨

The commitment, teamwork, support for one another, and passion they show every single competition makes me so proud to be part of their journey.

Wonderful Wednesdays are for celebrating BIG achievements — and these girls truly deserve every bit of recognition ❤️

Hemel 2 Area Qualifier 2026

Yesterday my wonderful squad took to the floor in the H2 area competition.
The closest in distance for many of the family it meant a slightly shorter travel and we felt incredibly lucky to have received tickets as it’s a very popular event!

For set dance we had 7 hopeful individuals step onto the floor and we finished the category with two extremely lucky individuals qualifying for GF 2026.

Our team IMPACT won for the second comp in a row however with there being two teams in the category we didn’t lose our final life!

RnR saw our remaining two couples head out with both dancing themselves into their respective finals once again but narrowly missing those lucky cards - with it being such a tough field of dancing to be making continuous finals is simply outstanding in itself!

Solos saw several of our squad placing - how gorgeous do they all look my happy rainbow!

The last event of the day saw our beautiful partnerships gain more success, we’ve worked so hard on ‘togetherness’ as so many schools have and it was lovely to hear that acknowledged yesterday by the compare 💗

Another wonderful day for our wonderful family!

Next stop… Cambridge 🤞🏻

Portsmouth Street Competition May 2026

I’m starting this post with how incredibly proud I am of these 6 little women!
We had these six stunning individuals travel down to Portsmouth yesterday, and they walked away with one A finalist, one B finalist and two pairings placing in their category!

Feedback from the event was that it felt bigger than any of the dfr comps this season with many 50-60 children per category!🤯

Thank you to for keeping an eye on my wonderful families I really appreciate it as I couldn’t attend!

Clacton 2026

A truly wonderful day our squad really looks forward to driving to the seaside for the Clacton competition every year!

Set dance saw five of our students make their respective finals with three qualifying for GF 2026 a phenomenal achievement with the standard of dancing being so incredibly high!

Team saw IMPACT winning and losing their second life!!

All of our couples made their finals in RnR with two couples gaining those coveted grand finals cards 💚💗

Solos saw seven of our individuals making their finals!

And we finished the day with 6 of our couples placing in their categories!

I couldn’t be prouder of our squad 🤍

Hemel 1 - DFR Area Qualifier 2026

The competition where I learnt I truly have the best dance family out there!💝

Congratulations darlings our second comp of the season and a BIG event it was!

We were thrilled to have 5 finalists with three qualifying for grand finals!
Another 2 of our RNR pairings made their finals with 1 couple gaining the coveted 1st place and earning their spot at GFW 26.

Our team headed to the floor for the first time and came 2nd, outstanding considering our team is made up of students who dance over two different venues and this was only their 2nd time of all being together 💕

Solos saw 3 finalists who danced ALOT of rounds to place in the final 6!
And finishing our day with 3 partnerships making their respective finals!

A glorious day indeed!

An extra specie thank you to my parents who late Saturday evening found themselves pivoting on how their Sunday should look, I found myself at hospital with my little one and wasn’t sure if I would be able to attend, but with maybe positive steps I got to the venue (a little late) to find two of my parents on the doors, one running, one with a note pad and one with all names numbers and categories planned out and my golf stars hd taken a class warm up and had started to run the end of team in prep for future events.💝
