🎒 FAQ FRIDAY: IS THERE A BAG DROP? 🎒

Yes! 🙌

There will be a secure, monitored bag drop available inside Hampson Community Centre on event day.

Drop off your belongings before you head to the start line and enjoy your race knowing they’re being looked after! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙

Please remember to collect your bag after you finish!!

🏃‍♀️ NATALIE WINS THE HANDICAP 5K! 🏆

There was plenty of action at Thursday evening’s FVS Handicap 5K, with Natalie Browne taking the win and setting a new PB of 26:01! 🎉

Elsewhere, Samuel Paul continued his incredible form with another Stevenage parkrun win in 16:26, while Kelly McHale set a new parkrun PB of 22:25.

There were also plenty of milestones, speedy runs and Spartans spreading the blue far and wide – including Denmark, Scotland and the Scottish Borders! 🌍💙

And, of course, a few Spartans got into the spirit of Tutus on the 22nd! 😄

NATALIE BROWNE won Thursday evening’s Handicap 5K race in Stevenage and she was the fastest female with her new personal best (PB) of 26 minutes 1 second (26:01). Natalie was 3:29 ahead of handicap, with newcomer Jen Naisbitt second, supported around by Sally Phillips, both finishing in 41:46, 3:1...

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ 1500m @ Ridlins! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

22 Spartans took on the 1500m at Ridlins with plenty of first-timers taking on the distance for the very first time! 💙🩵

🥇 Charlie White — 4:45.9
🥈 Mike Jeffs — 4:49.1 PB! 🎉
🥉 Pete Gentle — 5:16.7

✨💪🏻Suzy Hawkins was the fastest Spartan woman in 6:01.0, followed by Jo Cooksley in 6:28.3.

There were also some brilliant PBs, SBs and YBs across the field - and most importantly, lots of Spartans trying something new and giving the 1500m a go! 💪🏻

A huge thank you to Georgie, Nick, Callie and Hannah for planning and organising the session and keeping everything running smoothly on the day. 🩵💙

🏃‍♂️ A busy week for the Spartans!

Nearly 120 runners from three Stevenage clubs joined forces for a brilliant 20/20 training session, followed by a fundraiser for the Spartan charity EDS.

Meanwhile, 22 Spartans took on the 1500m at Ridlins, with Charlie White fastest in 4:45.9 and Mike Jeffs setting a PB of 4:49.1.

And at parkrun, Simon Jackson led the Spartans home at Stevenage in 18:28, with 32 FVS runners taking part. 👏

More than one hundred from three Stevenage running clubs came together for a 20/20 session on Thursday evening. What a brilliant evening bringing Stevenage’s running clubs together! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

A huge thank you to Stevenage Striders Running Club and Stevenage Phoenix for joining us for a combined club 20:20 training session. We had well over 80 runners out together, which was incredible! 💪🏻

Although, there were so many of you that Instagram couldn’t even fit everyone in the photo 😂📸

Thank you to everyone who helped make the session happen. We’re so lucky to have three fantastic running clubs right here in our town, giving runners of all abilities the chance to get involved, meet new people and enjoy running together. 💙🩵❤️🧡🖤

🏃 PBs, milestones and racing across the UK! Aimee Barrett and Jacob Nelms claimed victory in the Spartans' Handicap 5K, Judy King completed an incredible seven races in seven days, and Samuel Paul continued his winning form.
