Stevenage Swimming Club Stevenage Swimming Club was established over thirty years ago.It is a competitive club affiliated to the Hertfordshire A.S.A.

Stevenage Swimming Club was established over thirty years ago and merged with Six Hills swimming club in 2003. It is a competitive club affiliated to the Eastern Region Amateur Swimming Association and the Hertfordshire A.S.A. It aims to provide professional teaching and coaching for as wide a range of swimmers as possible from Learn To Swim to nationally ranked swimmers, with a structure that is

geared to produce competitive swimmers at all levels, National, Regional, County and Club. The club is based at Stevenage Swimming Center which provides the club with a 25m pool for training sessions.

A huge congratulations to SSC swimmer Charlie P, who has been crowned the new IAPS UK Under 11 Boys 50m Butterfly Champion!

Not only did Charlie take the title, but he also smashed the existing championship record in a fantastic swim.

Huge congratulations to SSC swimmers Torri, Alex and Teah on their visit to Buckingham Palace today to celebrate their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards! 👏👑✨

A truly special and well-deserved achievement after years of dedication, commitment and hard work both in and out of the pool.

Stevenage Swimming Club is incredibly proud to have played a small part in supporting their DofE journeys over the years — from completing the physical sections through swimming, to giving back as volunteer swim assistants helping inspire younger swimmers across the club.

Today was a moment to celebrate everything they’ve achieved. What a fantastic experience and memory for all three! ❤️🖤🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

🥈 Huge congratulations to SSC swimmer Charlie P on an incredible achievement at the East Region Swimming Championships! 🏊‍♂️🔥

Charlie finished an outstanding 2nd Overall 11/12 Year Boy across all events in the entire Eastern Region — a fantastic reward for all the hard work, dedication and determination shown throughout the Championships. 👏

The award was presented by the current Swim England President, Roger Prior. What an amazing experience and a proud moment for Charlie, his family and everyone at SSC! ❤️🖤

A brilliant swim from our SSC swimmer at the East Region Long Course Championships, taking 3rd place in the 11/12yrs 400m Freestyle and setting a NEW club record of 4:59.91 LC! 👏

This result is down to Charlie’s hard work, determination, and never-give-up attitude — putting in the hours at training, racing with confidence, and always pushing himself to improve 💪🏊‍♂️
