As we come to the end of another fantastic Lido season, there’s still time for one last splash… and this time, our four-legged friends are taking over! 🐶🐾

The Aldershot Lido loved welcoming local furry friends to enjoy a swim at the end of the Lido season, our colleagues tried to get the inside scoop by interviewing some of our canine visitors.

Aquatics GB, in partnership with Scottish Swimming and Swim England, is looking for young people aged 12–16 with a background in gymnastics, acrobatics, trampoline or similar sports to take part in the Fast Track Talent Transfer programme.

Celebrating the community champions making a difference in North Yorkshire 🙌

We’re delighted to announce The Parent Pod as Everyone Active’s 2026 Community Champion for North Yorkshire!

The Parent Pod was created to provide inclusive, supportive and affordable activities for children with additional needs and their families in Scarborough.

Through the Community Champions scheme, The Parent Pod will have access to facilities at Scarborough Sports Village, helping them continue their fantastic work while creating even more opportunities for local families to connect, take part and feel supported.
