The 1XI travel to Roberts Park to face Saltaire whilst the 2XI host Otley. The 1XI can leapfrog their hosts with a win!

On Sunday a youthful looking 3XI host local side Bingley Congs!

Weekend Results✅✅

It was two good wins for the club in tricky conditions. The 1XI racked up 320/6 against North Leeds. James Robinson (97), Tremaine Dowrich (89) and Ben Hemsley (53) did the bulk of the damage. It was too much for our visitors who were limited to 223 from a reduced 44 overs. Archie Cox (3-55) was the pick of the bowlers.

The 2XI got a much needed win away at Alwoodley. Max Harrison (67) top scored and was supported by Harry Wilkinson (37) as we posted 206/7. Their response never got going with Adam Hardwick (6-47) carrying on a great season with the ball!

Both teams are in a comfortable league position as we enter September.

WEEKEND RESULTS ✅❌✅

The 1XI picked up a tense win away at a spirited Kirkstall to take them to 3rd in the table! At 50-6 we were in some strife before Stevie Pearson (54) and Ben Southern (52) combined in a terrific partnership to set the game up for Adam Smith (32* off 17) to get the lads over the line! Overseas Dowrich (4-54) being the pick in the first innings.

The 2XI lost out in another tight game at Summerhill Lane. Bradley Akrigg (133*) scored a magnificent unbeaten century but lacked support to help the team build a big score. Paul Hardwick (3-41) was the pick of the bowlers in the second half as Ilkley fell behind the run rate. However Ilkley took the upperhand in the last 10 overs as we were beaten on the second to last ball!

The 3XI resumed winning ways at home to Leeds Mods. Harry Wilkinson (49) fell agonisingly short of a half century but Max Hibbert (89*) and Josh Barton (35*) combined to help set a competitive 241/4. Regular wickets led to Leeds Mods falling 44 runs short and the 3XI cementing their spot at the top of the division!

The 1XI head to Kirkstall, whilst the 2XI host Birtwhistle Cup winners Ilkley. Both sides will be looking for wins to try to sneak up the table and finish the season strong.

On Sunday the 3XI host Leeds Modernians at Summerhill Lane. They are top of the table and will be hoping to stay there!

Weekend Results🏏

The 1XI had a good win at home to Hall Park. Batting first we scored a competitive 241/8 with plenty of batsmen contributing. James Robinson (60) top scored with Stevie Pearson (50*) also making a valuable half century. Archie Cox removed the Hall Park openers in the second half which led the way for Paul Quinlan (6-23) to rip through Hall Parks middle order in a match winning spell!

The 2XI unfortunately came out on the wrong side of another high-scoring game at North Leeds. Our Hosts racked up 257 in the first innings, Jake Hill the pick of the bowlers with an economical 2-33. Our response saw plenty of batsmen get starts without anybody kicking on to get the big score required to win, we fell 12 runs short.
