This weekend we travelled away to Bingley to play. 2 good teams going into the game unbeaten and it showed why.

Good football by both teams and some good battles on the pitch.

We were missing a few players so we called up Joseph Berry from the Rams team. Joseph has been playing really well and throughly deserved his call up. He played very well with some nice footwork and some lovely passing. He came in and played like he’d been in the team whole season. He came away from the match earning himself the player of the match award.

Today we travelled over to Bradford for our match.

Good battle on a cow field of a pitch. Hard to play free flowing football on pitch that’s been hampered by the weather. The team battled hard and everyone put in a big shift. Missing a few players due to illness but the boys stepped up.

Jacob Hird filling in at goalkeeper and was very composed and dealt with any pressure. The boys at the back Roscoe Wilson & Jasper Pickard remained strong putting in a solid performance. Toby Swain in the middle of the park worked tirelessly in the middle breaking up play. The wingers Jonny Murray & Oliver Green brought the magic with their speed and flair, Hewie Jenkins pressing high up the pitch with his rapid speed. Lucas Jones came off the bench to help his team out with some good work off the ball.

Another tough game this weekend against a very strong team.

Both teams played a physical match and was end to end. Losing an important player due to illness we had to re-jig the team. Players stepped in and stepped up! One of them Jacob Hird who went on to win the Player of the match.

Defended like a lion and put his body on the line for the team.

Great result today for the boys!

Against a very good team. We showed a lot of character to go behind. Every player put in a great performance and determination.

Glorious morning for a game of football.

Another glorious performance by the boys, we had goals from Jonny Murray, Toby Swain, Oliver Green and Jamie Clarke. Another clean sheet for Michael Corrigan.

Roscoe Wilson was man of the match today, he’s the cog at the back that gets the team playing and reads the game very well. It’s hard picking a man of match with this team week in week out as there all talented boys

Kicked off the new season today.

A good battle against a very organised team, both teams played some lovely football and was an enjoyable match to watch.
